It’s party time!

This has got to be my favourite time of the year!Steaming summer days and sultry nights with the promise of a much needed holiday just around the corner.  And, of course lets not forget all the social engagements that populate our calendars, as everyone is infected with summer fever and comes out to play. What to wear for the parties, weddings, lunches and other shindigs?

Here’s some sensational, figure-fixing, party season fashion!Read on for the tips you can’t afford to miss!

1)  This little number is chic, sophisticated and gorgeous on both petite and curvy girls.Belt itor leave it be.It’s a great length too, which means it’ll last season after season, becoming your new go-to LBD.

2) If you’re after something a little different and more vintage, go for the cream on black dress.  Sensational on sun-kissed skin with a pair of peep-toe heels!

3) Here at FriendsWithJenny we’re in love with this dress!  It’s great for taller girls and those with sporty figures – the colour-blocking breaks up the line of the body to add curves.  And to all you girls who carry weight around your tummy, this is also a style for you.  Your middle is hidden by the draped satin panel, and your gorgeous slender legs are emphasised by the bottom band.  Hot!

4) Leggy figures are truly show-stopping in floor-sweeping maxi dresses.  And this style is also great for showing off the shoulders!  Wear with flats for a daytime affair, or glitzy sandals for night-time glamour.

5) This tunic is great for petite girls, lucky long-limbed ladies and again those that carry weight around their bellies.  Show off your pins, or pair with leggings or jeans for a daytime style statement.  Either way this cream number will make a high impact.

I live in maxis, but I have rather broad shoulders for a girl and prefer straps of some sort to just break it up.
