Although it’s not seen, underwear is a very important part of fashion. We are not living in the times of Adam and Eve anymore, where we can all walk around naked. In fact, people who walk around not wearing undies and flashing their goodies around are frowned upon (Yes, Brit, it’s trashy not sassy!). If underwear wasn’t in demand, it wouldn’t have been around in the first place… Not so?
There are many many different names for underwear ranging from undergarments to knickers, and it has come a long way throughout the years. The first type of underwear was practically just a loin cloth that way wrapped between the legs and around the waist. Can you imagine wearing that today?
Nobody ever considers it, but just like any other fashion, underwear trends change too! If you think about it, take a bra for example; from a training bra, to a sports bra, to an unpadded bra, to a bra with a wire, to a padded bra, to a push-up bra… catch my drift?
The same goes for panties; you get your bikini’s, thongs, boy shorts, g-strings, granny panties, and so forth. And as always, it’s different strokes for different folks! It’s not really likely that you’ll find young ladies in their teens and in their 20’s wearing “granny panties”. It’s amazing how you can be self conscious about something that is hardly ever seen!
On the other hand though, some undies are meant to be seen. It would be such a waste to buy a sexy set of lingerie if you can’t let it be seen – it’s practically a sin! Lingerie is one of the sexiest items of clothing you’ll find. Covering up just enough… and leaving the rest to the imagination. It’s the perfect way to spice things up in the bedroom. Every girl should have some kind of lingerie in her closet, even if it’s just to walk around the house in… Go ahead! Feel good about yourself!
I believe that a girl should have one of everything in her drawers. A g-string, for those outfits where you need to cover up those visible panty-lines. A pair of boy-shorts (oh so comfy…and sexy too). A pair of granny-panties… when you’re just not in the mood to be sexy, and preferably when you’re sure that nobody will see them!
When it comes to bra’s, I don’t think that the unpadded one’s are really “in” anymore! Especially not if you’re sagging…Because then what’s the point of wearing it in the first place? Saggy boobs are so not hot! Push-up bra’s are awesome because they give you that support and they make your cleavage stand out, mind you though, we don’t want anything popping out!
People always say that it’s the small things that count, and it’s the truth! Imagine a world with no underwear… It would just be so bare! Make sure you keep with the trend and go out and treat yourself to a pair of sexy undies, you deserve it. Go ahead… spoil yourself (and your man!).
