One thing I love about winter is of course, the shoes! Don’t get me wrong, sandals are gorgeous, but I’m a bit of a boot freak. If you haven’t been winter shoe shopping just yet,check out these hot shoe trends from Steve Madden – The only “other man” in my life at the moment. 🙂
These Steve Madden Peony’s are my favourite! Glam shoe booties are hot to have this season and you can work them with dresses, pants and leggings! Imagine these gorgeous grey, and very unusual pair of booties worn with a pair of Jeggings (that’s jean style leggings in case you haven’t heard about the latest trend just yet), with a white button up shirt dress and a chic, short black jacket – mmmm!
Cowboy styled boots are also in this season, and in case you need more inspiration, cowboy boots were hot heels at Dolce & Gabbana Spring/ Summer 2010 (that’s next Spring/Summer for us in South Africa). I love the pair from Steve Madden featured above – The Gammbble. It’s a slouchy, leather boot with a wooden heel and the colour is my favourite. They would look stunning with anything really, especially something with denim detail. And yes, you can wear them with dresses too – think floral/ country – another Winter 2010 South Africa key look.
