Lingerie and Pearls for your face with Guerlain

I recently got to test out two new products from Guerlain, my first time ever using this brand and all I can say is, me likey! A Lot!

Imagine covering your skin with sexy lingerie and pearls that make you feel like a million bucks? We’ll that pretty much describes how you’ll feel when you use Guerlain Lingerie de Peau foundation and Guerlain Meteorite Perles.

Let’s start with the Meteorites Perles, a light diffusing primer that looks good enough to eat.

How gorgeous is that bottle? I almost didn’t want to use it, but really glad I did and now it’s one of my firm favourites. To sum it up, it’s pure luxury in a bottle!

Apply it before your foundation and it transforms your skin into a perfect canvas, that sets your skin beautifully and allows your foundation to glide on gorgeously.

The texture of the Meteorites Perles is not quite a cream and not quite a gel either. It’s non greasy, non sticky and it also gives your skin a nice “fresh” look. I even tried applying it after foundation one day and it works wonderfully if you’re after that glowing skin look.

Now the foundation… Guerlain Lingerie De Peau is a translucent foundation, so light the texture almost fuses with your skin.

It’s like an invisible vale that gives you great overall and best of all, long lasting coverage whilst seeming perfectly natural. Velvety smooth and luxurious, what more would you expect from a foundation that’s called Lingerie? Just like lingerie for your body is designed to give you that bit of va-va voom while making you feel sexy – Lingerie De Peau does that for your face!

The trick to applying this foundation is to apply several drops of the foundation, then spread outwards as needed from the centre of the face. Try it… it’s magnifique – as the French would say.

Lingerie De Peau comes in 12 “fresh” shades (I’m between an 03 and 04 in case you’re wondering) and it’s perfect for summer and has an SPF of 20.
