Chanel Nail Personality: Party Girl

Like most girls, I’m obsessed with nail polish. A quick mani or pedi with a fresh new colour on your fingers or toes can really transform your mood. If you don’t have a lot of money, or time to buy a new dress or pair of shoes, then painting your nails is the next best thing. Actually, I think it might be better in some instances – like for example, when you get to paint them with a luxurious, gorgeous coat of Chanel nail polish.

For the next few days, I’ll be channeling a new personality by painting my nails in different colours from the lust worthy and totally yummy Chanel Le Vernis collection!

Before I begin, I need to mention that I’m a Chanel virgin – or at least I was a few weeks ago. Now, I’m a fond follower and a believer (can you also hear the Shrek song in your head?). What makes Chanel nail polish so special, besides it being Chanel (hello!) is that the colour is, in one word, magnificent!

A lot of nail polishes need two to three (sometimes even more) coats to make the colour as intense as the bottle. Well, not Chanel. One dip of the nail brush into the bottle, and that’s all you need for gorgeous, well manicured nails. So, is it worth it you ask? Well, when you consider that one bottle lasts three times more, then YES.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way lets get into today’s Nail Personality… The Party Girl!

A party girl needs a party outfit and the colour to have on her fingers and toes is the hottest hot pink, like Chanel Le Vernis Pulsion.

Part of Chanel’s Christmas 2010 collection, Pulsion is the perfect colour for a night on the town with your girls, a romantic dinner with the man and those relaxed Sunday afternoons on the beach or by the pool. It’s therefore the only colour you need when you pack your makeup bag for your summer vacation. No more carting your whole makeup stash along, which means more space for more shoes!

For me, I’ll be putting on my highest (5inch baby) heels, painting my nails with Pulsion and sipping on Strawberry Daquiris – Can you think of anything better?
