On Sunday night the stars stepped out for the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, and as we’d expect (hoped) there was a whole lotta red carpet eye candy, here’s the best of the best.
The Girls
Twilight vamps, Gossip Girls, Victoria’s Secret and an English rose summed up the girls turn out for the evening. And since it’s MTV, there was a universal dressed down look, with lots of leg, smokey eyes and tousled hair. Kristen Stewart and Leighton Meester were my favourites from the night, both in Balmain. The Emma’s also stole the limelight, with Watson in a cute white Marchesa mini (with metallic Brian Atwood ‘maniac’ pumps – to die for!), and Stone in a Bottega Veneta sheer number.

Blake Lively adopted this season’s colour blocking trend in a blue Marchesa fitted dress with maroon Louboutin pumps, and sassy Victoria Secret’s model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley rocked the animal print trend in this leopard print D&G bodycon.

More Twilight vamps, a couple of Ryan’s and a Spiderman all made red carpet appearances. Starting with the dapper, Ryan Reynolds perfected his dress down-cool look in smart jeans, a fitted cardigan and beige loafers; Justin Timberlake in a grey suit with a printed tee, and Spidey Andrew Garfield went geek-chic in a blazer-sneaker combo.
