With summer in full swing here in northern hemisphere, here are some of the hottest summer trends straight from the streets of London.

There’s a lot of “festival” fashion on the streets of London, which includes a whole lotta straw hats. From tribys to fedoras, hats are hot.

Top Knots

Undone hair adds to that carefree summer feel, and lucky for us girls it takes just minutes to style. Loose tousled waves give a “beachy” feel, and disheveled top knots take the summer vibe into the evening. (lanvin girls)

The New French

Nails are the hottest accessory right now, and bold is better. Mixing pinks and reds (yes that’s paint one finger pink, the next red, then pink…you get the picture) and whitening half moons is trending everywhere. I’ve also seen a spin on the classic french tip – dark nails with metallic tips. Top colours include red, orange, yellow, teal, slate – there doesn’t seem to be an ‘it’ colour this year.

Pop lips

Bright pinks and corals are big this summer. Statement lips mean understated eyes – stick to lashings of mascara and winged eyeliner.
