Fashion’s Royal Wedding

Unless you’ve been living under a rock this weekend, then I’m sure you’ve heard  that the other Kate’s has finally walked down the aisle, marrying “The Kills” frontman Jamie Hince, bringing a small Cotswolds village to a complete standstill.

Kate arrived in a silver Rolls Royce

Moss wed in Galliano (a higly publicized friendship, despite his misdemenours). The cream vintage-esque gown was covered in rhinestones and goldleaf – stunning. And more importantly she walked down the aisle in bespoke Manolo Blahnik (changing into Louboutins for the reception).

The rest of her look was signature Moss, her hair undone and tousled, her makeup simple and understated.

Not forgetting Hince – he opted for a light blue YSL suit and like a true rockstar, his best (wo)man was his Kills counterpart Alison Mosshart (in a matching YSL suit).

The happy couple

And with designer BFF’s comes multiple outfit changes. Stella McCartney is rumoured to have designed three ensembles for the proceedings; a chiffon diamond encrusted gown for her first dance; a sexy mini dress for the after party and a three piece suit for the newlyweds departure.

As you’d expect the guests perching on the pews resembled a catwalk front row. Names include John Galliano, Daphne Guinness, Vivienne Westwood, Jude Law, Kelly Osbourne, Jade Jagger, Sadie Frost, Naomi Campbell and Anna Wintour.

The three day celebrations, dubbed “Moss-stock” took place on Kate’s Cotwold’s estate, with rumoured performances by Iggy Pop and Snoop Dogg.

And with food from the Ritz, and Hollywood worthy party bags (containing items from Mulberry) what’s a mere million pounds – you only get married once (right!?)

The couple have signed the rights of the wedding pics to Vogue USA, which are set to appear in their September issue.
