We asked the new face of Pond’s Age Miracle range a few questions about her life, her beauty regime and how she keeps her skin healthy.
How long have you been modelling?
My love for modelling grew during my participation in the Miss South Pageant in 2004
What does it feel like to be associated with an iconic brand such as Ponds?
This opportunity to work with Ponds has been a great honor. Its a classic brand that I have known for most of my life and now I get to represent it, to me that’s beyond exciting. This new range represents elegance, maturity and glamour these are some of the attributes that most women want. This is a timeless product and I am extremely grateful to be associated with Ponds.
What have been your favourite campaigns to work on?So far Ponds has been my number one. I got to shoot the ad in Thailand and that was an eye opening experience for me.
When you’re not modelling what keeps you busy?
When I am not modelling, I work. I have a full time job as an Industry Analyst in one of the big four firms. I also love spending time with friends and family.
What do you do to unwind?
I run (haven’t done that since winter started though ; 0), I love just being still and listening to beautiful music, I read when I get a chance.
What is your guilty pleasure/favourite indulgence?
I love, love, love strawberry licorice sweets and frozen yoghurt.
People who inspire you?
My grandmother is an amazing woman. She raised my sister and I up single handedly. She’s my pillar of strength. She makes me believe that anything is possible no matter where you come from.
What is your main skin worry?
Pimple break out are my worst fear!
At 30 are you worried about ageing?
Yes I do worry about ageing. I would love to keep my face young forever, if only that was possible.
How have you managed to keep your skin so healthy?
I wash my face twice daily and moisturizing thoroughly and I never leave the house without sunscreen on my face.
Tried & trusted beauty tip?
Simple tip: always use a moisturiser and sunscreen.
Favourite fragrance?
I love Chanel Chance eau fraiche.
