If you were an iconic fashion house and you wanted to launch a fragrance would you go with a casual press do with champers and petit-fours? Not if you were Burberry.
To launch Burberry Body, their new fragrance featuring the ever-so-sexy Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Burberry has collaborated with British band The Feeling to produce a soundtrack to match the fragrance: sensual and intense.
The campaign was shot by famed photographer Mario Testino and directed by the brand’s Chief Creative Officer, Christopher Bailey. For the face of the campaign, Bailey chose model-turned-actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley who’s sporting her first fragrance campaign.
Rosé, the campaign’s backing track, was written and performed by The Feeling and was recorded exclusively at Abbey Road earlier this year. The single was made available for download earlier this week.
The actual TV campaign shows Rosie in one of Burberry’s iconic trench coats showing off what her mama gave her. There’s definitely no doubt why this English beauty was asked to be the ‘face’ of Burberry Body.
