I love entire Diesel Black Gold range for spring/summer 2012 . Cropped metallic gold trousers and silver jumpers make shiny the new sexy. But If shoes are more your thing, then look to block heels – the new stiletto – or kick it Nike style with metallic high tops.

For a more subtle take on the metallic trend, invest in some shimmery eye shadows and liquid metal polishes. I’m hooked on L’Oreal’s Infallible Eyeshadow in Flashback Silver, and Chanel’s nail colour in Graphite.
Just remember with metallics, always focus on just one piece, whether it be a chain mail clutch with an LBD or metallic eyes with a simple jean and white-tee combo. No one wants to look like walking human tin foil now do they?
