Yellow Blues – A ‘Lil Outfit Post

I am a typical Greek, which means black is kinda like my uniform. It’s only recently that I started going a bit crazy for colour – loving the colour blocking trend! My fave is to mix bold, bright, contrasting colours together. From shoes to tops to technicolour jeans, I love them all!

I recently bought myself these gorgeous, unique and totally cute Raphaella Booz wedges from (a South African online shop) and I can’t get enough of them! Every time I wear them, women stare at them and a lot of them even come up to me to ask where I got them, or just to tell me how fabulous they are. I think I should be carrying TrendzDaily business cards around πŸ˜›

But they are fabulous aren’t they?

Besides the fact that they are totally comfy, gorgeous and trendy, they are also almost one-of-a-kind. TrendzDaily only brings in one size for every style they carry, which makes me feel so much more special. As if wearing such pretty shoes isn’t enough! If you’re a size six then I’m afraid you’re out of luck, these babies are all mine *evilgrin*! If you’re not a six, then be sure to check out TrendzDaily to see if your size is still available! Don’t even second guess it, unless you’re willing to take the chance and wait for their summer sale, which happens on the 25th of this month.

Shopping withΒ TrendzDaily is such a pleasure! When I ordered my shoes, the size wasn’t right – something I’m sure many of you are worried about when ordering via the internet- which I thought would be such a pain to deal with. It was bliss! I emailed the lovely Lauren and she had her couriers collect the shoes and drop off my new ones a few days after – I barely had to lift a finger, accept to open the gate for SFS couriers.

Now you may be thinking, oh Dimi, great shoes, but what the yellow are you going to wear them with? Well, I’ve been wearing them with a lot actually! Besides plain blue jeans (they look great with indigo blue or light blue), I’ve also worn them with yellow shorts and a white tee, denim shorts and a black vest, blue shorts with an orange (yes orange) tee and even paired them with my red Zara skinny jeans.

But my favourite is to wear them with cobalt blue jeans and rock the colour blocking trend! A simple white tee works perfectly and I pick up on the different colours with my mutli coloured bangle from Forever New.

So, what did you think of my lil outfit post? Should I do more? I’d love to hear how you would wear these yummy yellow wedges. Oh, and by the way, that last picture I just could’nt resist. That’s my rottie puppy, Paris. She’s such a poser and she’s fascinated by the sound of my camera focusing. Either that or she just loves her picture being taken.

    • It’s amazing how much those blue jeans actually go with. When I bought them I was quite sceptical, but thought what the heck. I’ve worn them so much and I love them! The shoes… well to die for is the correct way to describe them πŸ™‚
