I am 60 – female. Where and what eye make-up can I buy for my eyes? Green eyes. Dont want to use shimmering eye make-up. How can I wear it to make my eyes look bigger. From Krugersdorp, Gauteng. Thanks

  • Hi Mietie

Purples and Navy blue look amazing on Green eyes! Dont do green on green, unless you’re blending them out as it can look a bit much.

I’d suggest shadows from Lancome, Bobbi Brown or Chanel. Rather invest in good quality ones that are highly pigmented. The higher end brands will usually do a “makeover” on you to show you how the products look, so experiment until you find one you’re in love with.

These makeup artists will also be able to determine exactly what technique you need to make your eyes look bigger. Also remember lining your waterline with black liner will make your eyes appear smaller, so if you want them to “pop” add a white liner to the waterline instead.

    Good luck!
