Best Dressed at the Baftas

Best Dressed at the Baftas

Awards season is in full swing – this week we’ve had the Grammys, the Baftas, the Elle Style Awards – and for me all the award winning happens on the red carpet. The Baftas hasn’t been this starry in years, with the men totally outshining the ladies – see for yourself.

Brad and George were the night’s leading men, George looking dapper in a classic Armani jacket and tie combo, and a long-locked Brad in a Gucci tux with a D&G overcoat.

“Shame” star Michael Fassbender donned an eco-Armani three piece suit, and Colin Firth also made the red carpet a bit greener in an eco-Armani tux. Both were made of organic and recycled materials, with Colin’s other half Livia heading up the “Green Carpet Challenge” to drive sustainable red carpet fashion.

Staying with the Brits, it’s no surprise that my favourite of the night was Eddie Redmayne (actor and Burberry model whom I tend to mention – a lot!) who looked rather handsome in a velvet tux, Burberry of course.

One starlet worth mentioning is Michelle Williams who wore a bespoke H&M (yes, H&M!) black and cream gown with a quirky clutch and red lips – it’s no wonder she’s a style icon.

Next stop…the Oscars!
