Bath Bliss with Tree Hut
Winter is heading for us in a big way, Brrr! The skies are turning darker and our sunshine bliss is rapidly slowing down! It seems the only way to stay warm and happy these days is to spend as much time soaking in the tub as you would soaking up the sun’s rays on the beach.
Yesterday was cold! Yes, even in Durban! So lucky for me, I had some products from TreeHut to brighten up my mood, thanks to the fab peeps at Takealot.com! The Tree Hut range is made in the USA, using unique ingredients such as crushed almonds, Hawaiian Kukui nut oil and coconut shells, to mention a few. Tree Hut products are paraben and DMDM free, and never tested on animals. Now thanks to Takealot – the online store, The Tree Hut range is available to us in SA.
Tree Hut Shea Moisturizing Shower Wash
This is a lovely, rich and very moisturizing body wash that smells like an exotic paradise! I got to try the Almond and Honey one – mmm! Even without adding moisturizer (as I sometimes don’t when it’s too hot) my skin felt smooth and nourished.
I also tend to get skin irritations from a lot of soaps and body washes, so I was really glad that this product didn’t cause any of that.
Tree Hut Shea Extra Rich Moisturizing Body Lotion
Again, the body lotion smells amazing and feels fab on the skin without making it feel oily. Although I don’t use moisturizer every day (I know, bad) I might just start as this one absorbs into the skin quickly without that annoying greasy “slick@ feeling.
It’s designed to heal and repair skin.
Both are fantastic products that besides using Certified Organic Shea in their manufacturing, and all their yumminess, are also packaged beautifully and look great in your bathroom.
One thing I really like is that they are fairly decent sized products and well priced. The shower wash costs R69 for 473ml (most are between 250ml – 350ml) and the body lotion costs R59 for 225g
