The glamorous UK FiFi Awards Ceremony took place on Thursday in London with a ‘zhoosh’ black tie affair, drawing the likes of Kanye West, Kim Kardashian (nominated for best celeb fragrance) and Richard E. Grant to celebrate the much-anticipated fragrance industry awards. Awards were given to some of the most popular and highly-regarded fragrances released in the UK in 2011. So, who cracked the nod in their respective categories?
There were 18 awards categories and the evening revealed that Elie Saab had received the prestigious title of Best New Fragrance for Women while Gucci Guilty Pour Homme was honoured as the Best New Male Fragrance.
Thierry Mugler’s fragrance, Angel, was inducted into the UK Hall of Fame as a result of a vote by industry professionals on the night.
