iGifts You’ll Want Under The Tree

The iStore, which has got to be one of my favourite places on earth, has some amazing new goodies, and just in time for Christmas!

If you’re a lucky bugger and someone special will be giving you an iPad3 or managed to get their hands on the new iPad Mini or iPhone5 just for you, then you are going to love these…

Nothing like blinging out your (i)Pad or phone with some cool, yet classy accessories…

Like these QDOS Smoothies iPhone covers for your new iPhone5. Unfortunately they don’t fit on an iPhone 4, or even the 4S (sniff, sniff), but they are still really cool covers! All I need now is an iPhone 5… Santa, can you hear me baby?

Available from the iStore at R299 each. The middle one is an actual mirror case, so you can check your makeup and ensure you always look good! Then, the black and white ones at the bottom are from the “Nightlife” collection and feature a galaxy of crystals that have been embedded on a scratch proof surface, so they don’t stick out, but still look glam and sparkly! Me likey!

Now, as much as I’d love to get a the iPhone5 under the tree, I’m more keen on getting the new iPad Mini! Apparently it’s not available in SA (officially), but some super cool peeps have already got their hands on one – jealous! I’ve already got an iPad2, which I cannot function without, but these cute covers make me really want a mini! So cool for taking notes!

This Griffin Wise Eyes Folio (R399) with it’s super cute owl print is adorable! This is the perfect iPad Mini cover because it not only looks cool, it’s made from a denim-like outer cover and has got a little loop for your stylus – after all the iPad Mini is made for taking notes!

The flap of the cover folds over and locks into the Griffin logo at the back to create two different work stands. Place it on the flat spine and you’ve got a display stand – great for watching movies and Youtube videos – or you can put it down with the spine facing the back, to create an angled work surface – great for typing.

Another cool iPad mini cover is this Incase Canvas Maki Jacket (R399). With it’s gorgeous black and pink polka dot design you are sure to look super cool making notes!

The design is slightly different to the one above, in that it doesn’t have a loop for your stylus and the cover has three foldable sections (as apposed to a lock in flap) which bend to create a stand. Although I love the look of this one, I prefer the Wise Eyes Folio. It just seems to be a lot sturdier when it’s converted into a stand, and the stylus loop makes a huge difference.

And now, something for all you geeks out there, that can’t decide whether you love books or your iPad more! The BookBook for iPad by Twelvesouth (R899) is the answer! A beautiful hardback leather case and display stand, that can be used on the iPad2 and iPad3. The iPad1 doesn’t fit nicely because it’s slightly thicker and looks like it’s busting out.

The entire case is hard and has a beautiful, vintage book spine. The zips around the case also add to the “real book” character by making it look like a bookmark!

The BookBook keeps your iPad secure by buttoning into place, and when you want to use it as comfortable stand for typing, you just unbutton and flip out the stand. To create a sturdy display for watching videos and skyping, just flap the book stand over the back cover and viola – you’ve got a perfect stand!

All of these accessories are available from iStores Nationwide!

I’ve always wanted a BookBook for my MacBook, now that the iStore finally stocks them, they only stock for the iPad. Still pretty though.
