CHANEL CC Cream!

I’ve been mentioning CHANEL a lot lately! And I still have more to share, since they have so many, exciting new launches coming our way. YAY!

One of these launches, that is set to hit our shelves this week, on the 4th October, is the much anticipated CHANEL CC Cream.

So, like most CC creams, the hype around this product is its colour-correcting ability. And becuase it’s CHANEL, you know that everything about it would be amazing! And it is, almost!

CHANEL CC Cream will launch in South Africa in one shade – 32 Beige Rose.

Product wise, it is gorgeous! The texture feels like foundation, but with all the added benefits of a CC cream.

CHANEL CC Cream combines five-actions-in-one-cream. These include; comforting/ soothing the skin, hydrating the skin, protecting the skin against UVA and UVB rays, protecting the skin against external aggressions, as well as evening out imperfections (such as redness, dark-spots and pores).

It feels soft and luxe on your skin, leaving you with a natural, flawless finish. And like anything Chanel, it smells like a million bucks!

Now let’s talk about the colour…

32 Beige Rose could work well as an all in one CC cream if you have a medium/ medium light skin tone.

If you have olive undertones like me, you will find it difficult to get away with wearing just the CC cream the way it was intended, without foundation.

With most CHANEL foundations, I wear Beige 40, so 32 Beige Rose is considerably a few notches too light for me.

Having said that, I still managed to find a way to use this product and enjoy some of the benefits!

Since it helps to neutralize the overall colour complexion of my skin, I use it as a primer.

Everything is amaze, it’s just the colour that is too light for me. So, I apply a thin layer of my normal foundation and bronzer over, which helps to bring back some colour to my skin.

Chanel CC Cream SPF30 in 32 Beige Rose will be available on counter from the 4th October 2013.

Price wise, you’re looking at R645.
