POND’S is one of those skincare brands that has been around for ages, with a trusted a loyal following.
And even though they have been around for so long, they continue with cutting edge research to produce even more effective products using the latest technological advances – and at affordable prices!
It’s one of those brands that you just know you can trust!
Last year I tried out their Age Miracle range and really loved it, especially the eye cream. This year, POND’S have launched another really amazing skin range for aging skin, that helps to enhance your youthful glow… POND’S Gold Radiance.
I am happy with the condition of my skin, but I am always looking for products that will help to keep it healthy right now, and products that continue the benefits in the years to come. After all prevention is better than cure.
POND’S Gold Radiance is an uber luxurious anti-aging skincare system that consists of a Facial Foam, Youth Serum, Day Cream with SPF15, Eye Cream and a Night Cream.
It’s all beautifully packaged and the entire range glitters in gold. Besides the packaging, every product in this collection consists of real gold micro-particles. POND’S believes that these micro particles help to re-energize the skin and bring back the lost radiance of aging skin cells.
I got to sample all five products from this range and love the way they look, feel and smell.
The cream products (Youthful Glow Day Cream, Youthful Night Repair and Youth Reviving Eye Cream) feel soft and luxurious. The skin just soaks them up, absorbing all the moisture without leaving any residue behind.
With the Radiance Revealed Facial Foam, which is my fave product (since I love foaming cleansers) you can physically see the gold micro particles. It cleans your skin beautifully and even without moisturizer, leaves your skin supple and soft.
The “rock-star” of this range is the Precious Youth Serum, where you can also see the gold micro-particles. I’m a huge fan of serums and this one comes with Vitamin B3, known to reduce age spots.
While the serum feels fab and makes the skin look beautiful, I’m not the biggest fan the bottle it comes in. The dropper doesn’t seem to suck up enough serum and because it has such a narrow opening at the top of the bottle, I often had product “squishing” out the top when I put the dropper back in place.
Just be wary of this since the serum is the most expensive product in this range and you certainly don’t want to waste it. If it does happen, just do what I did and give your hands a little gold lovin, they will love you for it 🙂
Told ya…. uber luxurious isn’t it!?
POND’S products can be found in Clicks, Dischem, Foschini and Edgar’s stores
