Have you heard the latest Scandal?

Rimmel’s new Scandaleyes Eye Shadow sticks are out and they are here to give your eye lids outrageous colour in a flash!

These new, high impact jumbo sticks promise easy, crease free colour that lasts for up to 24 hours, and they come in 7 fab colours.

I got to sample four of the seven colours, including Witness White, Gossip Green, Guilty Grey and Bulletproof Beige.

I really like the colours, texture and long lasting (it really is) staying power of these sticks.

They are perfect for your holiday bag, especially if you’re going away and don’t want to carry your entire makeup collection, but still want the option of having various shadow colours on hand.

The only downside of these pencils, is that since they are actual pencils in need of sharpening, with soft tips, they do tend to “break” off quite easily. So instead of keeping them sharp, I prefer to use them a little blunter if you know what I mean.

The consistency is almost like that of a cream eye shadow, but it adheres to the skin more like an eyeliner than an eyeshadow.

I was really impressed with how well they lasted. I tested out the gold, Bulletproof Beige on the back of my hand and after I showered the next morning, the colour will still on my hand. I had to scrub it off.

I also really like the colours! The white isn’t really my thing, but it could work well as a highlighter for your brow bone or inner corners of your eyes.

Check them out at selected Foschini, Edgars, Clicks, Dischem, The Hub and selected Pick n Pay Stores.

Price wise, you’re looking at R89.95 each!

Have you tried them? What are your thoughts?
