iPad Mini = Massive Awesomeness

I am a die hard Apple fan through and through! And one can never have enough!

ipadMINI

I’ve been playing with the awesomeness that is the iPad Mini for a couple of weeks, and although I already have an iPad, this little guy is definately on my wish list!

It’s like having an iPad just in a smaller, more compact version that doesn’t weigh as much!

The screen resolution is crystal clear and super high quality.

When the iPad Mini first came out I thought I didn’t need it – since I already have an iPad 2 (which I still love) and an iPhone 4s for on-the-go.

But then, I got to play with this little guy and I can finally understand what everyone raves about!

I travel a lot for StyleScoop, and I’m always attending launches in Cape Town and Joburg, so I always make sure I have my iPad with me to keep me occupied on the plane trip and during those boring airport-waiting hours.

The iPad mini is perfect for this since it’s so much smaller without compromising on anything that the standard sized iPad offers.

If you’re into reading books on your Kindle App, then the iPad Mini is ideal since it’s a lot easier to hold and feels more like a book than a tablet. So in this instance the iPad Mini is better than the iPad.

Now, if you’re like me and you spend hours stalking blogs, you want to be able to view the web pages bigger – especially since I follow a lot of street style blogs that are very picture rich.

So, for blogstalking and web browsing I preferred my iPad 2 until my husband – the little brain box – suggested I should just turn it to landscape and viola – bigger, crisper images just like that of a traditional iPad.

Do you need one? Well that depends on what you like to do. Personally, I love it, but I am still happy with my iPad 2. However, if I had the choice to use one or the other, I think the iPad Mini would win that battle.

When the time comes to upgrade my iPad 2, then I’ll go for the iPad Mini. I like to let all my gadgets “die” naturally before replacing them.

What are your thoughts? Have you used either, which do you prefer?

I literally just picked up the Ipad Mini this weekend and am already head over heels in love with it. For me a tablet was always a question of whether I really needed it but it has already made a huge difference!
