Twinkle Twinkle little star!
Once again, the festive season is upon us and CHANEL has launched another gorgeous collection of makeup to get you feeling festive this season!
The collection absolutely encourages seduction and sensuality. It’s all about twinkling metallic highlights, sensual eyes, glam lashes and bewitching lip colours in a choice of satin or velvet finish.
The collection features the exclusive OMBRES MATELASSÉES DE CHANEL eyeshadow palette “Charming”, which has five eyeshadows that can be mixed and matched to create sculpted looks.
A combination of satiny and iridescent shadows all beautifully embossed with the iconic quilted CHANEL motif.
The single eyeshadow options come in one of two beautiful ILLUSION D’OMBRE cream-to-powder eyeshadow pots. “Fatal”, which is the beautiful silvery-violet shade featured in my pictures, as well as a platinum bronze colour, “Initiation”.
Also for the eyes, LIGNE GRAPHIQUE DE CHANEL which is a bronze liquid liner and CILS SCINTILLANTS mascara in “Bronze Platine” which adds depth and layers of bronze sparkle to the lashes.
The show-stoppers from this collection, in my opinion at least are the lipsticks! The packaging is sophisticated and chic with a case that presses to open.
They come in three colour options and two variations. ROUGE ALLURE VELVET in “La Desiree”, is an intense burgundy shade, while “La Precieuse” offers a bold and vibrant red. For a more satin finish, ROUGE ALLURE in “Radieuse” is the most dazzling pink on the planet.
I’m not much for red lipsticks, but I absolutely love the finish of ROUGE ALLURE VELVET and especially the colour of “La Precieuse”. I think I’ve FINALLY found my perfect red!
My go-to colour for the season will no doubt be ROUGE ALLURE in “Radieuse” , simply because it’s feminine, classy and sophisticated.
For the complexion, this collection is all about the subtle sparkle!
The blush, JOUES CONTRASTE in “Accent” adds a lovely hint of rose, with golden shimmer, while for the entire complexion, POUDRE UNIVERSELLE LIBRE in “Moonlight” has that definite festive spirit by adding beautiful shimmer to your skin.
For the nails, there is only one colour in this collection, and just when you thought there were enough “reds” available, LE VERNIS in “Rouge Rubis” makes you lust after another one.
I don’t know what else to say about this collection, other than it’s beautiful! I’ve never had a CHANEL product that I didn’t think was the best of the best.
To me, CHANEL products are like a fabulous pair of heels. The more you have, the more you want them and always love them!
Nuit Infinie de Chanel – the Christmas 2013 Makeup Collection is on counters right now, but with it being a limited edition collection, I predict another sell out!

I have the blush in Accent and it was love at first brush!
I LOVE the lipsticks! Although I am not a huge fan of red also that looks like a stunning shade….!!!
