The thing I love about Jozi, is there’s always something to do!
About two weeks ago, the hubz and I headed to Park Acoustics courtesy of GAP. It’s such a fun vibey event, and definitely a fabulous way to spend your Sunday!
Park Acoustics happens every last Sunday of every month at the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria. August’s event took place inside the Fort, and it was a really great way to watch some cool local acts including; Boo!, New Academics, Momentss & Manny Walters and Pretoria locals George Town.
It was great fun, but we were kinda silly and didn’t come prepared for the sun, so sadly didn’t get to see all the bands. But seriously, 27 degrees in Jozi in September! I didn’t expect that!
I packed my trusty “on-the-go” picnic basket (Salticrax, Smoked Oysters and Tabasco Sauce) and we watched the show from what seemed to be the “kings seats”, on the edge of the fort walls, looking down at the acts 🙂
Next month it’s going to be even better, and I will at least take sunscreen and a hat! I can’t wait for the 28th! I’ve added the flyer to the end of the post, but stick around because I’ll be hosting a giveaway next week, where you can win double tickets to the event
