Today, I’ve got a triple Fragrance Friday for you, featuring the three Thomas Sabo fragrances that are now available here in South Africa.
Each one comes beautifully packaged in it’s own, striking mini-hat box, inspired by the 1950’s. The bottles, a true Thomas Sabo creation, are all quite similar; elegant with candy-black and white stripe down the sides, and the logo for each fragrance brand in the centre.
Since Thomas Sabo is first and foremost a high end jewellery brand, each fragrance is finished off with a hand-tied cord that can be worn as a bracelet or hair tie.
These will surely prettify any dressing table and they’ll make such gorgoues gifts! No wrapping needed 🙂
So let’s get into these fragrances…
Thomas Sabo Charm Kiss
This has got to be my favourite of the three. It has a chocolatey-strawberry scent that’s very different to any other fragrance in my collection.
It’s the latest fragrance from Thomas Sabo and it tantalizes the senses with a distinct scent that’s flirty and passionate. Girly, but at the same time sensual and womanly.
It opens with top notes of fresh strawberries, tantalising champagne and hearty red current, ripened by raspberry and crunchy apple. MMM!
At the heart, warm jasmine, lively violet, inspiring freesia and elegant plum come together, to reveal a floral, fresh scent.
The base notes include dark choclate, supported by exotic benjamin resin, sandalwood, musk and delicate Madagascan vanilla.
Created to give you that “feeling of falling in love every day and being coquettish and seductive.” It’s a scent that takes you back to your first kiss in a day dreamy kinda way.
It’s absolutely delicious, and comes with an authentic Thomas Sabo KISS charm pendant.
Thomas Sabo Charm Rose
This is the first fragrance in the Thomas Sabo collection and it’s all about Luck, fashion, love and passion!
Charm Rose is an inspiring fragrance composition made up of a blend of floral, fruity and oriental notes.
It transforms Thomas Sabo’s Charm Club concept into a fragrance, with luck, fashion, love and passion in it’s composition.
Luck lies at the top of this fragrance. Fresh, fruity notes such as yellow plum and lily berry, juicy Clementine nectar and white peach flower convey a feeling of lightness and happiness.
Fashion lies at the heart with a rose bouquet of rare and precious roses. These include Charming Chinese Rose, Alpine Rose and Musk Rose that are rounded off with elegant magnolia flower, seductive jasmine and tropical lisylang.
Love and Passion lie at the base, with warm and sensual essences of Tonka bean, Brazilian rosewood, silver amber, ground vanilla and white sandalwood.
Charm Rose is a pretty fragrance that’s pleasant and feminine, but it’s not very stand out (for me at least). Like, if you had to smell it and you like you roses, you’d probably love it, but it’s not mesmirizing like the Charm Kiss fragrance.
Thomas Sabo Charm Rose Intense
In 2013, Charm Rose Intense was launched to compliment Charm Rose. It’s a lot more vivid and vibrant than the origianal scent, and personally, I prefer it because I like stronger, more pronounced scents.
It’s a fragrance about the sweet passion of seduction, of sensual self-dramatization and of coquettish flirtation.
Charm Rose Intense opens with a florally-fresh fragrant firework comprising mandarin and freesia, carried by a velvety- soft hint of white peach.
The heart features the ‘black rose symphony’, an exclusive combination created for Thomas Sabo. It is natural ‘rose absolue’ comprising of intensely fragrant dark-red, almost black, roses, combined with the light elegance and delicate grace of peony and sensual lisylang.
Patchouli meets warm rosewood, sensual vanilla essences and velvety amber notes to create the base for Charm Rose Intense.
I like how it smells when it’s first sprayed, but even more so when the heart notes start to reveal themselves.
