Weekend Uniform – Distressed Stripes #OOTD

May 28, 2015

I’ve never met a striped tee I didn’t like. I guess you could say, I have a bit of an obsession when it comes to anything striped.

You can never have too much.

Especially like this really different striped tee, that I picked up from Old Khaki the other day…

It’s the perfect mix of stripe, but with an edge. And I can bet, you don’t have anything like it in your collection?

What makes the Lanah Tee different, is that the white has this really cool, distressed kinda effect going on.

I paired mine with a green parka (I bought this one last year, but there’s a similar style here with a faux fur hoodie – ohh), blue Lucky Brand jeans, my trusty Converse high tops and a bling necklace.

It was a little colder in morning, so I thought it the perfect opportunity to wear my super cute beanie with a huge, faux fur pom-pom.

uhmm hello!! Love this look, Dimi. I really love this parka with that inset detail. Not so sure about the tee … my ocd kicks in and I would want to wash it clean πŸ˜‰

You’re welcome. I am collecting my Della Rose Parka tonight!! I have always admired old khaki clothing but since discovering your blog, I am in that store almost every time you post just so that I can touch and fit on the items you show. I tried on the parka and I feel like I am engulfed in a warm marshmallow. They really have such awesome good quality stuff. Next is definitely their flannel shirts – soft as a puff I tell you.

    • Ohh nice! I almost bought the Della Rose Parka too, but figured it was too similar to what I had. Wish they had in beige, then I’d definitely nab it πŸ™‚

Old Khaki do have amazing clothes! I’ve just started buying my tees from them a size bigger as I’m a modern girl and I use my tumble dryer haha – and since their tees are almost always made from natural fabrics, shrinkage is inevitable.

I’m going to try out the flannel shirts on my next visit – I need soft as puff for chillows days like today

I have been lusting for a green parka since forever but never found the right one. Until I saw your one, only to find out that it was last season (and that’s because I didn’t know about your blog πŸ˜‰ haha ) So, I tried the Della Rose yesterday and loved it. Just getting a bigger size at a different store tonight.
Good to know about the shrinkage – as winter approaching everything needs to be dried quickly!! Yes, try those flannels – I am sure You will love.
