I Covet… Designer Wardrobe Staples

Good morning fabulous people!

Lately I’ve been coveting (so what else is new), so I thought I’d start a new series here on StyleScoop called I Covet… and I’m kicking off with Classic Designer Staples!

I’ve set my expectations high, and since we’re dreaming in any case, I’ve picked out designer pieces that I totally think are worth the investment… even if it’s something that will only happen 10, 20 years down the line! I reckon even then, I’ll still want these same pieces!

A girl can dream can’t she?

Burberry Trench Coat

Number one on my aim-for-the-stars wish list is this Burberry Sandringham Long Trench coat – of course! I mean, it’s probably the number one wardrobe staple that will never go out of style! Am I right?

My fixation with owning a Burberry Trench has always been around, but it was only when I attended the My Burberry fragrance launch that I really, really felt the NEED! At the launch I got to discover the history of this amazing coat, made from a very special fabric, and got to touch and feel its beauty with my own grubby hands! I really didn’t want to give it back (haha) and since then, I’ve been obsessed with with owning one of these beauts!

Louis Vuitton Leopard Stole

Next up on le lust list, is this beautiful Leopard Stole from Louis Vuitton! Why? Well, because it’s probably the most beautiful leopard scarf I have ever seen, and again something that will remain forever stylish!

This particular one is composed of a mix of gorgeous cashmere and silk, making it even more covetable! And the pink lettering makes it a little playful while still keeping it very luxurious and very chic!

Dream on Dimi!

Chanel Boy Bag

Uh-ha! And, of course, a Boy Chanel Flap Bag would make all my dreams come true! I’ve always wanted a classic Chanel 2.55 bag, but that changed when I saw the Boy Bag and my heart literally skipped a beat (not only because of the price tag – although I am sure that might have had a little something-something to do with it).

I’m obsessed!

I might have a hard time picking a colour though. It’s probably best to go for classic black, with silver or gold hardware, but I must say that I kinda think this khaki colour would work too. Or beige perhaps?

My little Rebecca Minkoff has been one of the best investments I’ve ever made, and even though it’s small, it holds everything I need and I can’t believe how much wear I’ve already gotten from it. Now, as much as I love my Minkoff, I would totally sell a kidney to get my hands on a Medium Chanel Boy Bag. Tell me you wouldn’t! 😛

I’d take my Chanel Boy every-friggin-where!

Ippolita Bracelet

I’ve had a fixation on Ippolita Bracelets for T-H-E longest time, and although years have passed, this baby has remained on my lust list!

While a stack of these Rock Candy Lollipop Bracelets would look amazing, I’d be pretty over the moon with just one.

Aren’t they just gorgeous!

Ok, now back to reality… I hope you enjoyed my little dream post, and let me know in the comments below what pieces you have on your Coveted Wish List?
