I’ve Got Curls… They’re Multiplying…

And the power they’re suppling, it’s electrifying…

Happy Spring day ya’ll!

What better way to start a new season than with a new hair do?

I’ve missed my ombre so much, so yesterday, I went to my hairdresser, the fabulous Louise, to get me some blonde highlights and slowly bring my ombre back… This time I was inspired by another pic of Jessica Alba that I posted on Twitter .

The result… Bye bye red, hello ombre!

While we’re on the subject of new hair, this season, I plan to experiment with more hairstyles. If you know me, you’ll know that 99% of the time my hair is just plain ol straight.

It’s not that I don’t like styles -I do- but since my hair is so straight it usually doesn’t hold the style for longer than an hour, so what’s the point right?

Well, now I have a reason to go curl crazy and it’s all thanks to the new L’Oreal Professionel Tecni Art Hollywood Waves range.

Although, If I’m honest, my Louise helped me out on this style, but a style is a style so shhhhhh!

Besides the pretty packaging, these new launches from L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni Art Hollywood Waves, Hollywood Waves-Waves Fatales (296) and Hollywood Waves-Siren Waves (R296) are all that and more if you want curls galore!

First, we used Hollywood Waves-Waves Fatales on my damp hair to give it a bit of texture and define the curls. Then Louise dried it and created the curls using a ghd. They lasted for hours and the best part is my hair still looked shiny and bouncy without feeling crunchy.

After I left the salon, although my curls still looked bouncy and beautiful, I wanted to try out Hollywood Waves-Siren Waves to see the result. It’s basically a curl reviver that boosts your curls after they’ve fallen.

To use, apply it on dry hair and wrap each curl around your finger, hold it for around 15-30 seconds and viola, your curls are full of new life. Such a fab product to have on hand this summer!

It works beautifully while keeping your curls looking soft and shiny.

Both are absolute rock star products that are worth the hype.

You can also use L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni Art Hollywood Waves-Waves Fatales to get beach babe hair without the heat. So, you apply it to damp hair, braid in sections, let it dry and you’ll have instant, long lasting cascading curls.

How exciting!

PS, on my nails, I’m wearing Chanel MÉDITERRANÉE from the Chanel Summer 2015 Makeup Collection – Such a beautiful blue that I can’t get enough of and I’m excited to be wearing it in summer!
