Classic, red plaid is one of those essential winter patterns that just keeps making a comeback! Actually, I don’t think it’s ever really been out of fashion, which makes me wonder why it’s taken me so long to embrace it in my wardrobe!? Nonetheless, I’m feeling the whole country girl vibe right now and it’s all thanks to this cute as a button -seriously just wait ’till you see the cute shirttail button detail at the back- plaid shirt from Lucky Brand…
Lucky Brand denims are my favourite! Since my first pair, I was converted and haven’t looked back! I’ve just added a sixth pair to my collection now. I love the fit (the Sofia Skinny’s and Lolita Skinny’s are my faves) and I love that they have three inseam lengths readily available. I’m not a shortie, but I am on the shorter side at 164/5cm, and love the ankle length. They just fit perfectly, which means I don’t have to ruin my jeans in another failed attempt at shortening them (which never works out) and I can create cute cuffs without having to roll up a quarter of the fabric. Winning!
I’m also a huge fan of their jewellery (as I’m sure most of you already know) but besides their jeans and accessories, Lucky Brand have an amazing selection of beautiful, well made clothing that’s classic, yet modern, unique and stylish.
Like this plaid shirt. It’s so beautiful, I had to hold back on buying the grey version as well -I’m trying to break the habit of owning the exact same piece in different colours-. It’s incredibly soft and falls beautifully, but it was the button up detail at the back that completely sold me on this piece. As I said, Lucky Brand’s clothes are classic, yet modern and different, and while I’ve seen a lot of plaid shirts around, none have been as beautiful and as edgy and unique as this one.
