Your hair plays a vital role in finishing off your look and it is as important as the clothes you wear and accessories you choose! Today, we take a look at 5 must try hair styles from NYFW SS17 and show you, step by step, how to create the look with everything you need from TRESemmé.

LOOK 1: The Chic Bow – Carolina Herrera

You will need:

STEP 1: Start with the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Shampoo, followed by the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Conditioner for a smooth starting base.

STEP 2: Work in a small amount of TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Hair Maximiser and blow dry the hair straight with a round bristle brush.

STEP 3: Run a hair straightener over the hair, making sure there are no kinks or stray hairs and smooth over with TRESemmé Oil Elixir for a healthy shine.

LOOK 2: The Slicked Back Wave – Jason Wu

You will need:

STEP 1: Start with the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume reverse wash system. First, use the Pre-Wash Conditioner to soften the hair, followed by the Shampoo to wash away weight.

STEP 2: Apply a small amount of TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Mousse from the roots to the tips.

STEP 3: Use a round brush and blow dry the hair so it has natural body.

STEP 4: Part hair in half and hold the top layer in a pony tail. Pull out one inch sections of the bottom half and curl in a flat zig zag motion. Release the top pony tail and repeat the process.

You will need:

You will need:

STEP 2: Using your fingers comb through a small, golf ball sized amount of TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Mousse from root to tip, working the product into the hair in sections.

You will need:

STEP 1: Start with the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume reverse wash system.

STEP 2: Apply a small amount of TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Mousse to the roots and rough dry.

STEP 3: Part hair in the centre and pull out one inch sections of hair from ear to ear along the hairline. Pull the rest of your hair into a low pony.

STEP 4: Twist the loose hair (from the centre part to the ear) back towards the low pony; once you are half-way through the twist, split hair into two sections and twist the strands around each other. Pin in place and repeat on the opposite side.

STEP 5: Once hair is pulled back, twist the two pulled back sections around each other creating a wide, flat bun.

STEP 6: Release the low pony and a coin size amount of TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Hair Maximiser; work it through hair with your finger tips to encourage natural waves.
