The April Wish List

Oh hey April! The other day it hit me that I completely forgot to put up my wishlist for this month! Time flies and I can’t believe we’re already nearing the middle of the month, but better late than never as they say, so here goes…

Over The Knee Boots

Ok, I’m not going to lie, I still really, really, really want a pair of grey (or black – or both) Stuart Weitzman Lowland Over the Knee Boots. I obsessed about them in June last year, and even though I’ve tried to bring them to me through the power of attraction, I’ve been unsuccessful. R10k for a pair of boots is a bit steep, but I found something similar – yet totally different on Spree’s website in the form of these Dolce Vita Over the Knee Boots (R769).

Yeah, they are not real suede and will probably not last as long as the Stuart Weitzman’s, but they are pretty darn gorgeous! And I love the khaki shade which will look great with a pair of faux leather leggings.

Hooded Coat

I spotted this Hooded Melton Coat at Woolies (R799) the other day and now I want, need and must have it! I can’t decide between the black or the beige one (they have other colours too), but I’ve been looking for a cute coat that has a hood and that’s not necessarily a puffer jacket – since I already have one of those which I love.

Faux Fur Throw

There’s nothing cozier for the winter than a luxe faux fur throw and this gorgeous white throw from @home (R2299 – R3299) is so incredibly soft and cozy, I don’t think I’ll ever want to leave home.

The thing I love about this particular one, besides is obvious gorgeousness, is that it comes in a bigger size (200 x 230cm) as well, so it will actually fit over my bed as a throw. Of course then the price goes up, which complicates matters, but I still really want it!

Rich Mnisi Tunic

Can the 12th April just come already? I want to go into Woolworths and try on this gorgeous Rich Mnisi Tunic (R1099). It’s part of the Woolworths StyleBySA capsule collection by various South African Designers and the collection hit selected stores, officially on the 12th April. A few pieces from this collection are already available for online purchase, including this piece, but I really want to try it on before I decide.

I mean it looked beautiful coming down the runway at the opening of SAFW, but I still want to try it on. Then I can decide between this piece and two other Thebe Magugu pieces which I have on my radar.

Quilted Back Pack

I’ve been going back and forth into Country Road contemplating this back pack. Do I love it? Do I need it?

To be honest, I’m really not sure if I need it all that much, but I really do like it. I like that it’s a bit edgy and those ovesized side pockets would come in handy when I jet off to Prague in a few weeks – I just don’t know how much wear I’ll get out of it. But hey, this is a wishlist, so I’m putting it on here 🙂

Thomas Sabo White Ear Jackets

I saw these Ear Jackets the other day and I was like “hello lover”! They are from Thomas Sabo and are just plain beautiful! Remember a while back I mentioned that I was going to force myself to stop buying “junk jewels” for the sake of just having, and rather invest in beautiful, high quality pieces?

Well, this pair of earrings is one of those investment pieces I’d love to add to my collection. Made from sterling silver with high quality zirconia stones. They are pretty pricey at R2450, but they look even more expensive when you see them on.
