Today I thought I’d give you the run-down on my favourite favourites for summer.
First up is the jumpsuit. Yes, I know, the idea of an all-on-one scares the bravest of us, and requires some dexterity in the loo, but if you persevere and try on numerous styles in different colours and fabrics, I promise you will find one that makes you look slim, tall, and enviably on trend. And they’re not going anywhere soon.
Gladiator flats are another summer must have. Find your perfect pair, be they very strappy, or minimally so, metallic or nude, and wear them day in and day out for relaxed chic.
A maxi dress in delicious prints spells summer for me. Effortless and stylish, a maxi dress is perfect for the beach-to-bar set, and covers enough skin for everyone to feel body confident.
A kaftan or oversized tee is great as a beach cover-up and perfect with shorts for a casual look. I am obsessed with anything oversized at the moment – I love the slouchy look!
Every girl needs a really versatile summer dress that can be dressed up and down and is fun, flirty and flattering. My
favourite is the box dress, which can be tied in at least ten different ways for ten different looks. I will definitely be packing one of these in my suitcase for my Thailand trip!
December is cocktail party season, so you’ll definitely need a gorgeous dress to see you through all the socialising. Pick one that you’ll be able to wear again and again, and try going for something other than black! I know black is classic and fail-safe, but summer is perfect for experimenting with colour and throwing caution somewhat to the wind!
Along with a good selection of basic, easy-to wear-tees, I won’t be going anywhere without sun block (at least factor 30…sun damaged skin is not a good look), and a large pair of sunnies.

I still need to get one of those box dresses. they are stunning!
I want a jumpsuit but I’m trying to find one in the shirt dress material. being so short, the longer ones are not a good look for me.
My favourite summer dress (or summer anything for that matter) is the tunic – especially long ones that can be worn as a dress or with jeans or with leggins, or, or, or….. Im also a belt freak so its a good way to change it up with belts :)
