The Hollywood hills are alive. Not with the sound of music, but the sound of youngsters breaking into the homes of the rich and famous. Recently celebs such as Paris Hilton, Audrina from the Hills and Orlando Bloom have been making headlines, and for a change it actually is not on their own doing.

They have all fallen victim to a burglary ring consisting of six teenagers below the age of 20! (I know what is next for the youth of America?) These little tots (with way too much time on their hands), gathered information about the celebrities on the internet. They managed to get pictures of the mansions too, and that would be all that the mission required. They would wait till night hit the hills of Hollywood, put on a jumper with a hood and quicker than you can say “what were they thinking?” they were in the house – uninvited of course.
But wait it gets better! Leave it to the consumer capital of the world to produce children who break into homes of the rich and famous, not for diamonds, expensive art or some killer wheels. These kids were after designer threads!
The queen bee of the group Rachel Lee said she chose her targets according to the celebs she admired. (If that is not a back-handed compliment to the celebs that fell victim to the break-ins then I really do not know what is). These kids had a pretty lucrative “business” for a while. Nicholas Prugo who was one of the members of the ring has told police that they managed to sell Chanel pieces they stole from Rachel Bilson for between $200, 00 and $300, 00. They have also admitted to taking cash, personal effects and get this, narcotics from Paris Hilton.
Their last victim was Lindsay Lohan, but Lee admitted she was nervous for that one as they had already been caught on surveillance cameras and their identities had thus been exposed. This however did not put a hinder to their plan, so the nerves clearly did not pose a problem at all! (Apparently they stole a black fur coat that belonged to the Mean girls star).
Oh, but wait! I have left the best for last… After reading this, a question that might pop up is where were the parents of these under age tyrants when these burglaries were happening? The answer to that, Rachel Lee’s father knew what his daughter was doing and even went as far as to suggest that they bury some of what they steal in the Nevada desert. I know shocking!!!
Police have managed to recover some of the photos stolen from Paris Hilton and also the cash that was taken – just in case Paris might run out. Most of the members of the burglary ring have been arrested and are now out on bail. They will probably have to appear in court soon and watch these kids become famous in America. Can anybody say Reality show!
