This season, I vowed that I would only wear dresses. Apart from the occasional slip on the weekends at home, I have really stuck to my commitment. I must say that retailers were really kind and brought out a wide range of dresses – from short to long, from smart to casual – and I am very grateful. However, nothing makes a girl’s heart beat faster than a brand new store filled with gorgeous dresses, flowing skirts, amazing accessories and simply stunning shoes.
For those of you who live around Fourways Mall, you probably spotted a new store called FOREVER NEW. Well, I was doing my Christmas shopping there the other day and coming across this new shop just made my day.
Forever New is an Australian brand taking the fashion world by storm. There are two stores located in Fourways Mall, Johannesburg and the exclusive Woodlands Mall, Pretoria and these are the first of several stores planned for South Africa.
In keeping with the Forever New brand, the stores will display their dramatic signature fashion images, unique to Forever New. Both stores have uniquely created spaces featuring high polished finishes and mirror edged windows. They are designed to create a powerful environment capturing the class and individuality of the Forever New brand.
Not only was I spoilt for choice of dresses, I tried on so many that my head was spinning. I eventually settled on a gorgeous coral chiffon number and I am planning to wear on Christmas Eve. I also fell in love with their stunning shoes, bags and most adorable head bands aka Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl. I have no idea what possessed me to walk out of the store without the gorgeous heels I spotted, so I guess I will be back there soon.
