With summer approaching, us Durban gals can look forward to summer dresses, cocktails on the beach and bronzed bodies. But, with the warm weather in Durbs comes the horrible humidity and need I remind you, the rain!

I recently had the privilege to go to the ghd Revelations launch and fashion party, it was amazing! The show was based in a historic building in Cape Town and there was no runway like your typical fashion show.With this show, each model was in a different room, reenacting scenes in lingerie and clothing and the decor of each room was magnificent.

We drank champagne and ate strawberries while walking around looking into each room and watching the different fashion shows. After the shows the very talented crew from MAC and ghd gave demonstrations on how to use thier proucts while giving guests makeovers.

I had a fantastic time everyone was so welcoming and friendly and of course the goody bag we all received when we left was filled with lots of Divine products from MAC and ghd!.

As with everything ghd and MAC are at the forefront when it comes to fashion and trends, so thank you for giving us a very unqiue show.  Also, a big thank you to Jenn from ghd (in the last picture with me) and Robyn from MAC (in the 2nd last picture).

After being inspired at the ghd Expert Trade Show on fabulous hair styles, I decided to try out my new ghd Rejuvenation Cream the other night and see if it really was all the rage…

The product is basically a hair mask cream, that you apply to your locks overnight and wash it off the next day and is suitable for all hair types.  The product is said to restore hair with “free-radical scavenging anti-oxidants, which moisturises and repairs the hair cuticle overnight.”

So, you’re probably wondering what my verdict is on the product… Well Im sure you wouldn’t see the long term benefits after just one application, but my hair definitely feels healthier and has a beautiful, glossy shine to it.  Of course, I used the product in conjunction with other ghd products, which together created the overall effect.
