Embrace your curls! We got our faithful, curly-haired guinea pig, Louise, to try out these curl enhancing products from Wella and love her curls. Here’s what she had to say: Wella LifeTex Curl Shampoo I could already feel that my hair was more manageable from the first shampoo. I only needed a small amount of the product to get a lather. My hair felt clean, soft, shiny and knot-free! It left my hair frizz-free and smelling great with a light perfumed scent. The scent reminded me of being on the beach. Wella LifeTex Curl Conditioning Spray I used the Curl Conditioning Spray after shampooing my hair and it was really great for de-tangling. My hair was left shiny, soft and very managable with smooth bouncy curls. This leave in treatment is a fabulous product! I applied a small amount and loved how it left my hair feeling sleek while it conditioned it and left it knot free. It was nice to blow dry and kept my hair smooth and smelling gorgoeous without weighing it down. Pantene signs Olga Kurylenko

You’ll probably remember her as James Bond’s girl “Camilla” in Quantum of Sollace where she starred next to the hunky Daniel Craig. The gorgeous, dark and seductive Ukrainian-born actress and model, Olga Kurylenko has just been signed on as a brand ambassador for hair care brand Pantene. When asked why she has teamed up with Pantene, Olga said: “Healthy, strong, shiny hair is the definition of beautiful hair  in my opinion, and Pantene gives me just that!” She continues: “I feel that Pantene works as hard as I do, keeping my hair in great condition, so that no matter how hectic my  life is, I don’t have to worry about it looking good, as it simply radiates with health – I never leave home without it. My training as a model and actress taught me that strong, full, lustrous hair is such an essential beauty asset for a woman.” She expands further: “Interestingly enough, Pantene and I are similar in terms of character – we’re both modern, dynamic and adventurous! I got to try, test and love some of the products from this collection and all I can say is, girls you better hurry and get your Wonder Woman collection before it’s all gone – poof! The Mineralize Skinfinish Golden Lariat is an absolute must, with fine gold shimmer and coral for a suntanned bronze. Another favourite of mine is the Penultimate Eye Liner in Rapid Black for serious lines and, I also love the  Opulash Mascara in Themyscria (blue) for really “wow” lashes! Stylish Reading – Jonathan Adler Happy Chic Accessorizing

Just got my hands on Jonathan Alder’s book, Happy Chic Accessorizing and feeling very inspired by some of his design ideas. Like most of you that read this blog, I’m no interior decorator, but I do like everything to look like it’s been expertly chosen and placed, whether its makeup, clothes, furniture or the odd vase in the corner. This book gives lovely ideas on how to place items on your coffee tables, how to decorate your bed and just general stuff on how to make everything look more, well, happy chic! Conformity is a bore, Jonathan’s mantra is classic foundation, playful punctuation and you’ll find a lot of this in his book. I’m off to make myself a big ol cup of coffee, put my feet up and and start reading. Oh, and speaking of coffee… Jonathan Adler designs and sells a wide range  of cute accessories (among other things via his site), but I do love this stylish, eco coffee cup he designed for Starbucks Buy this book online from Kalahari
