All right little monsters, it’s official, and you’ve probably heard already, but in the odd event that you do live under a rock and haven’t heard, Lady Gaga will be performing in live in South Africa this year! Two shows have been scheduled, one in Johannesburg and one in Capetown! Part of her Born This Way Ball, Lady Gaga will be performing at Johannesburg’s FNB Stadium on the 30th November and at Cape Town Stadium on the 3rd December 2012. According to Big Concerts, tickets will go on sale, online at www.computicket.com, tomorrow, 19th June 2012 and I reckon their site will experience a huge traffic spike, lets hope it can handle it! I for one, cannot wait! Who else is going gaga over Lady Gaga coming to SA?

Last week I attended GUESS‘ 30th Birthday Breakfast at their Gateway Store, where we got to celebrate with Mimosa’s and GUESS red-velvet cupcakes. Not only is GUESS the big three-oh, but they are celebrating in style with an ad campaign that features one of the original “GUESS girls”, Claudia Schiffer – who still looks smoking hot – together with the launch of a limited edition capsule collection. The GUESS Capsule Collection is beautiful and captures the brand’s industry changing creations over the past 30 years! Here are some images from the event together with some of the items in the GUESS Capsule Collection… Enjoy

It probably means she’s about to fire you! The Belgium-born designer – who is best known for her iconic wrap dress – enjoys having “serious” conversations with people while she is on the move because she has “time to think”. She said: “Walking is my time to think. I like to climb – I’m a goat, a Capricorn. I also think it’s a good way to talk to people. When my son was little, he used to say, ‘Mom goes on walks for two reasons: to hire someone or to fire them.’ “It’s true, I often ask people to walk with me when I want to talk to them about serious things. I think it’s much better to have those conversations when you are moving.” As well as walking, Diane also enjoys more demanding activities and two years ago during an adventure holiday to Peru organised by her husband Barry Diller and with her long-term friend Calvin Klein she witnessed a near-disaster when the American fashion designer fell off a raft. She added to Financial Times newspaper: “The first thing I see is Calvin going off the raft. I thought, ‘Oh no, he will die, it will be our fault!’…

This weekend was fun, fun, fun! I was lucky to get a VIP invite to the event of the year… The Brutal Fruit Glam Camp! For the past couple of months everyone has been talking about it, tweeting about it and hoping to get entrance to this two day, by-invitation-only event. Think five star glamping, five star food, rubbing shoulders with celebs, drinking loads of Brutal Fruit and attending workshops to help you get your glam on! It’s every fashionista’s dream day out in Africa! I was one of the first Glampers to arrive. In fact, I think I was the very first; flying in to Lanseria at 9am and only checking into the camp at 4pm. While I wasn’t allowed into the camp site until it officially opened, I got to sit with the camp organisers and get a real behind the scenes look at the amount of work that went into this event. On arrival at the camp site which was at Casalinga in Muldersdrift, my first lot of buddies was a group of four fab Cape Town gals who won VIP tickets. Their overnight bags were tiny! My Tumi on the other hand, was packed to the…

I love Instagram, I could spend hours on it. I recently discovered something even better though called Pose. It’s an application for your iPad, iPad2, iPhone,  iPod Touch or Android phone. If you’re familiar with the Instagram app, Pose works pretty much the same. The only difference is that it’s geared towards fashion blogging. So instead of following friends and cool peeps like you do on Instagram, you follow other fashion and beauty obsessed trend setters and enthusiasts who share their fashion finds in real-time. The great thing about Pose is, like Instagram, anyone can become “Posers” and post pictures in your favourite outfit, when you spot that fabulous pair of shoes or your beauty obsessions. What’s even better than Instagram, is you can load “collection photos” on Pose. So lets say you took pics of your outfit and all the details, you can load them all into one Pose and users will be able to scroll through them. Neat hey! Just go to the Apple iTunes store and download it for free! Then set up your profile and start Posing. Be sure to follow stylescoop while you’re there and let us know if you’re already (or when you sign…

He may be gay, but you’ve got to admit, Ricky Martin is still one hot hottie and I’m glad he’s “back”. He may not be shaking his “bon-bon”, but he’s still making girls smile, this time it’s for makeup and a good cause. Ricky Martin, together with singing superstar, Nicki Minaj are the two new faces for the M·A·C Viva Glam 2012 campaign. How gorgeous is this visual, shot by David LaChapelle? Ricky and Nicky’s VIVA Glam campaign rolls out in March 2012, together with the all new MAC Viva Glam products. Remember, every cent of every product sold from MAC’s Viva Glam collection to the M·A·C AIDS Fund, helping those who are suffering with HIV and Aids.

A monograph of the fabulous, sexy-red-sole shoe designer, is Louboutin’s first masterpiece in print and features beautiful photographs of his shoes by Philippe Garcia. On Tuesday this week, I was invited to attend the launch of Appletiser‘s new plastic bottle option and celebrate its 45 year anniversary at the fabulous Wodka restaurant in Durban. Yep, Appletiser now also comes in a plastic bottle variant, and this option is marked to revolutionise the brand by improving its convenience and value offering. For us that means more South Africans will be able to enjoy more Appletiser, more often! The new plastic bottle comes in a 1.25 litre bottle, and retails at the same price as the traditional 700ml glass Appletiser. For beach days, there is also a new 350ml Appletiser in a plastic bottle. So no more heavy beach bags! Amen! “By understanding that the global credit crunch has changed consumer purchasing habits forever and by staying close to the economic reality of existing and potential consumers, we were motivated to make a meaningful adaption that could positively benefit the consumer both from a convenience and value perspective. So we are thrilled to announce this history making addition that will enable consumers to enjoy their favourite premium sparkling fruit juice anywhere and anytime” says Appletiser Managing Director, Francois Rozon. I think its such a great idea…

Although my hair is already pretty long, sometimes I wish it could just be fuller and more glamorous you know! So, when I discovered clip in hair extensions, it was to say the least, love at first clip. I must admit, I was sceptical about these at first, I did’nt think they would hold on my hair as its super straight and very soft, but I am very impressed. I love my clip in hair extensions. Take a look… As you can see my hair is a pretty decent length, but who can so no to more long locks? Check out the transformation from the picture above. The clip in hair extensions have blended beautifully with my own hair – you can’t even tell the difference! I put these in myself (without being able to see the back of my head) and it took me about 7 minutes to get them all in there. My hair is pretty layered at the back, so I do have odd strands sticking out, but when I pull all my hair to the side or keep it all back (with no pieces in front) you can’t even see where my own hair ends. My…
