If you’re a child of the nineties, you probably remember baby-doll dresses, right? Those suit-just-about-any-shape cute dresses, that had a fitted bodice and just the right amount of “flare” at the bottom? Ringing any bells yet? Well the skater style skirt (and dress) is very similar, just an updated version. What we love most about this style is how perfect it is for summer, but because it’s so versatile, it can be dressed up for autumn, winter or spring. And you know what that means… investment, investment, investment! Best Part? You can style it up with items you’ve already got in your wardrobe! A little black vest, white tank top, cute t-shirt, graphic print jersey tops and tees, that sexy corset or bodysuit, denim or biker jacket, and all those shirts… the possibilities are endless. Look how cute it looks with a denim shirt (above), To help you put some cute skater girl outfits together, we picked out some stylish way to wear your skater skirt. Remember you can shop the look directly on ASOS! Just click the link to go to the item, and if you’re shopping online from South Africa, make sure you read this first so that you know what to expect from customs! Casual Style…

She’s hot, she’s bold and girl knows how to rock a crazy hair do! This November Lady Gaga will be rocking SA and to get you in the Gaga spirit, we’ve found the perfect way to turn your hair into a Gaga do, no cutting necessary! Lady Gaga is famous for many OTT hairstyles, but her most iconic hair statement is undoubtedly her blunt, full fringe. This hair style is how we first got to know Lady Gaga when she released Poker Face. There was no mistaking Lady Gaga’s unique style with her platinum blonde locks, defined eye makeup and of course, the in yer face fringe! Now, I for one can’t rock this fringe. Earlier this year, I tried a fringe but just couldn’t get used to it – and that was a much, much smaller fringe. I do love Gaga’s full fringe, but let’s face it not all of us want to go snipping our locks, but at the same time we’d still like to try this look, and if we had more hair to do it – well that would be perfect! Lucky for you, I’ve found a way you can get your Gaga fringe without snipping your precious locks. And when…

Everyone who reads my blog or follows me on Twitter, knows I’m a sucker for shopping, especially when it comes to shoes and clothes! And while I’m not much of  a bargain hunter – I hate rummaging at sales – I do enjoy shopping online and buying cool stuff that nobody else has. If it’s on sale, well, bonus! A few of you guys have asked me about my ASOS shopping experience, so I thought I’d do a little blog on it explaining everything. It’s a great eye opener if you’re planning on shopping online at any international fashion outlet. I still shop at ASOS; I love their stuff and think the prices and quality are great. I’m just far more cautious with what I buy, because it can end up being a very expensive little trip online. When I first discovered ASOS I thought I’d hit the jackpot. That was until I got faced with the reality of shopping from a foreign country. Sadly girls there is no getting around it, so hopefully this post will just make you aware of the process before you go spend your hard earned cash. When shopping from ASOS or any other online clothing sites outside of South Africa, make sure you add a 40%…

Think olive greens, casual camel with long draping accessories, clean, clear, naturally beautiful skin and pretty eyes. This style is laid back and looks totally effortless yet so uber chic. Jessica Alba pulls it off perfectly and we’ve got the inside scoop on how you can steal Jessica’s look. Khaki done right Jessica is actually wearing these Vintage Olive Houlihan pants from JBrand.
