Oh, how I love these cute little retro, vintage-style lip tins from Lip Ice! Lip Ice JellO’s is a brand new lip balm that comes packaged so pretty in a cool vintage tin. It’s available in a trio of flavours including; original, cooling mint and cherry. The new formula of lip balm in these tins combines nourishing petroleum jelly and little beads of vitamin E to give your lips some summer lovin’, keeping them soft and smooth all summer long! They are great little tins to keep in your handbag, office desk or cubby hole. Lip Ice has been around since 1965 and as everyone knows is an iconic brand in lip care! Look out for Lip Ice Jello’s in store for only R16.99 each! I’m in love with all three, it’s difficult for me to pick a favourite.

Who doesn’t want super long, full flutter lashes? The only people I’ve ever heard complaining about their eyelashes being too long are men, which makes me wonder, was there a mix up in the making of Adam and Eve? If you’re blessed with long, full lashes, I really envy you! If you’re more like me with barely there lashes, don’t worry because help is at hand! More and more beauty companies are out there researching solutions to help our lashes grow. One product, I’ve tried, tested and love is Rapid Lash. It’s quite an expensive product, but it really works. You’ve just got to be consistent with it, and in a few weeks you will notice the difference! Revlon also has an interesting mascara called Grow Luscious. I’ve only just started using it, so haven’t seen the lash growing results yet, but apart from its “lash enhancing” ingredients that work over time to assist the natural growth of your lashes, it’s a pretty good mascara. I do like the supersized brush and after three coats my lashes look long and lovely! It would be an awesome bonus if this mascara could actually make my lashes grow at the same time. For some reason, lately I’ve…

Fakes are so last season, especially those fake Louis’ and Loubies! But, there is one time when faking it is better than the real thing, and that’s when it comes to faking a tan. Especially on your face! In case you weren’t one of the lucky ones to hit the beach this December holiday, and are feeling a little pale next to your tanned colleagues, don’t stress! We’ve reviewed three new Tinted Moisturisers to bring you good skincare, combined with a glowing complexion. Tinted moisturizers also offer a great way for you to ease you back into wearing makeup if you’ve been keeping it “el natural” over the holidays. Caribbeantan Sun Protection Tinted Facial Moisturizer I haven’t used Carribbeantan for ages! In fact the last time I used it was just before summer when you had to bear your Lilly white legs in your new Summer school uniform. I was pleasantly surprised at their new range of products, one of them being the Sun Protection Tinted Facial Moisturizer, packed with an SPF of 20. This is a great product to wear every day and even if you want some coverage for the beach. It goes on with a non greasy…

Like most girls, I’m obsessed with nail polish. A quick mani or pedi with a fresh new colour on your fingers or toes can really transform your mood. If you don’t have a lot of money, or time to buy a new dress or pair of shoes, then painting your nails is the next best thing. Actually, I think it might be better in some instances – like for example, when you get to paint them with a luxurious, gorgeous coat of Chanel nail polish. For the next few days, I’ll be channeling a new personality by painting my nails in different colours from the lust worthy and totally yummy Chanel Le Vernis collection! Before I begin, I need to mention that I’m a Chanel virgin – or at least I was a few weeks ago. Now, I’m a fond follower and a believer (can you also hear the Shrek song in your head?). What makes Chanel nail polish so special, besides it being Chanel (hello!) is that the colour is, in one word, magnificent! A lot of nail polishes need two to three (sometimes even more) coats to make the colour as intense as the bottle. Well, not Chanel.…
