Beauty Bytes – Fab New Makeup Goodies

Here’s a quick beauty byte on some of the amazing new makeup goodies I’ve been playing with recently. Tried, Tested and LOVED (as always)! Woolworths Makeup Wink, Wink, Blush, Blush! Woolies have launched an exciting new range of makeup that’s bang on trend and budget friendly! Some of the goodies I got to try: WINK Eyeshadow trio (R49.95) and BLUSH lip & cheek tint (R49.95). The eyeshadow I got to play with, Khol Maybe is absolutely stunning. I’m in love with the burgundy shade on the right and the khaki green on the left is also gorgeous. A great combo for winter! These WINK shadows are highly pigmented and great for adding metallic colour to your lids. In general I don’t like using the applicators that come with compacts, and prefer to use my MAC 217 blending brush to create a blended shade and my MAC 239 brush to pack on the colour.  You can even amp up the intensity of these shadows by dipping your 239 brush in a drop of water before packing on the colour. This will make your eyes pop! The BLUSH lip and cheek tint is a lovely cream blush that diffuses effortlessly on the cheeks and adds a perfect pop of colour to your lips.…
