Save/ Splurge – Long Lasting Foundations

I’m constantly asked which foundations last the longest, and so for today’s blog, I decided to do a little Save/ Splurge feature on my two fave, long lasting foundations of the moment. I have a perfect drugstore buy and a perfect counter purchase to suit both budgets… SAVE Maybelline SuperStay 24H – R154.95 Maybelline SuperStay24 foundation claims to last 24 hours. Well, I don’t know the exact time, but this foundation did last me all day long, right to the point where you can actually see the foundation wipe off on your face cloth when you wash your face before bed. Most of the day my skin looked even toned and natural without getting a thick, waxy feel, although after about 8 hours, it started looking a little yellow! It comes in a pump-action bottle, so you don’t waste a single drop. You can apply it with your fingers, a foundation brush or a “skunk brush”, it’s totally up to you. I like applying it with my foundation brush and then buffing it in with my MAC 187 brush. It gives it a really nice finish that doesn’t require powder to set. For even glowier complexion, I like to apply a bit of Soleil Tan de Chanel on my cheekbones, chin and forehead. Chanel Perfection Lumiere comes in a wide range of shades, so you are sure to…
