Whoa! November is already in full swing, which means, only one month till the end of the year! Can you believe it? I won’t lie though, I’m excited to bring on the holidays and I am already counting down the days. Until then, I have a wish list full of summer ready lusts on my radar…

I am in love with this very versatile drop waist dress from Levi’s. It’s the perfect little summer dress that can be worn in so, so many ways! I wanted to wear mine with some cute summer wedges, but alas, the weather has not been playing nice, and so I opted for an Autumn look in the middle of summer. It’s also been raining non stop in Durban lately, so I thought I’d pair it with my rain boots. I love the “leathery” fabric of this dress and the zip down the front, but my favourite part has got to be the pockets. I love pockets! Dress: Levis. Peasant Top: Truworths (from a million years ago), Sunglasses: Ray-Ban Semi-Rimless Aviators, Boots: Hunter

Hello stylish peeps! Can you believe it’s Monday already? I thought I’d start my posts this week by looking back and letting you guys in on some of the exciting things you’ve probably already seen if you follow me on Instagram. You can follow me on Instagram – stylescoopdotcoza where I post snaps of every day stuff like my shoe obsessions, makeup and events, and on occasion, the kids (my two Rotties and two mongrels) who drive me nuts, but whom I love to death! Enjoy!  An exciting package from the cool peeps over at Levi’s…  Stila fans, if you haven’t already heard the news, Stila cosmetics are finally available in South Africa, yay! I got to sample some goodies – my first time using Stila – and I absolutely love, love, love! Check out my review on some Stila products here. Love this clever Halloween gift filled with tricks and (more) treats from Accessorize, LaSenza and Inglot. Some more goodies from GOSH cosmetics to try. GOSH like Stila, is new to South Africa, but no stranger to makeup junkies around the globe! I can’t wait to dig into this makeup and am especially keen to try the eyebrow kit and…

Next month, my hometown of Durban plays host to The Vodacom Durban July; one of Durban’s and SA Fashion’s hottest events! With all the hype leading to raceday, combined with a new found love for my riding boots (which I finally found after years of searching), this month’s Trend Report is all about being a stylish Equestrian. Now, as much as I love this style of dressing, I wouldn’t recommend wearing a riding-style outfit to The July – even though it would make more sense to trot around the grass laden race track in comfy flats and a jacket, instead of your sheer, backless couture designer gown and sky high heels – in winter! As for any other day, I definitely think this look rocks, even if you have no actual connection on the Mink and Manure belt. Here’s how to wear the trend… Riding Style Boots A true riding-style outfit requires a pair of fabulous flat riding boots! Riding boots are an investment and will almost always look stylish and on-trend, so it’s worth it to spend a little extra for a great quality pair that will last you a lifetime!
