Now, I know I don’t usually post too many Men’s features, but hey, stylish gals need to be complimented by stylish guys right? So today’s feature is all about hot summer fashion trends for the guys, as styled by Men’s Health Fashion Ed, Azeez Jacobs. Recently, I attended the eighth annual Men’s Health Menswear Collection event, and let me tell you, guys, you’re in for a treat when it comes to choice! From brands such as Adidas, Superdry, Soviet, River Island, Converse, Polo, and The North Face (to name a few), your style options are limitless! And who better to show you how to wear them than the ever stylish Azeez? “You can expect to see the rise of sport luxe, fresher prints, statement tailoring, monochrome looks and bolder denim” says Azeez! I had the best seat in the house, Front Row and got to snap up some of my favourite picks! Boys in Burberry!

It’s not often that I post menswear trends here on StyleScoop, but I couldn’t help sharing a sneak peek at the latest collection from Burberry for their Menswear, Spring/ Summer 2016 Runway. The Strait Laced collection is all about introducing the new silhouette, The Chelsea – a tailored, slim fit design in trench coats and suiting, coupled with lace shirts, double-faced cashmere topcoats, cashmere knitted joggers, lightweight down jackets, light wool/silk trench coats… Fabrics focus on various cloth, including; English wool/mohair tailoring cloth, wool/silk tailoring cloth, fine cotton tailoring cloth, cotton lace, Burberry gabardine, double-faced cashmere, knitted cashmere. The colour focus is on a palette of black, navy, charcoal, pale grey, brown, stone, white, turquoise, red and mustard. And who said guys don’t need accessories? Accessories for this collection include the Burberry Barrow bag with painted stripe, superlightweight Scottish cashmere scarves, hand-painted Derby shoes, tassel loafers, handmade English ties, bug tie pins and square tortoiseshell sunglasses. Gotta love a well dressed man! I mean, what could be more appealing than a strong, sexy man who know’s how to look stylish! Today I have a double feature for ya! For the guys, there’s a little peek at the latest trends fresh from the recent Men’s Health Menswear Fashion Show, and for the ladies… well, I think it’s pretty obvious! The boys are getting braver, with bolder more striking prints as seen on MRP, Scotch & Soda and Edgars runway looks. Denim is always a good look! Always! Some great ways to style denim from Edgars, Polo, Guess and Dickies! Shorts are going shorter this season, and the hottest shade it seems, is ocean hues of blue and green as seen on Scotch & Soda, Lyle & Scott, Superdry and Kurt Geiger. Staple “khaki” turns to a more olive green, solid or accenting on jackets, shirts, trousers and denim cuffs! Some super sexy looks from Dickies and Soviet and great casual combos as seen on Celio and Spree. Loving the old-school-new-cool sporty trends for the boys!
