After that insane heatwave, I never thought I’d see green grass in Jozi. But after a week of beautiful, blissful rain, summer gardens are starting to look the part. I thought I’d take advantage of the beautiful weekend weather we had to show you gals my new, favourite piece of clothing. The gorgeous, Safar Ladies Suede Jacket from Old Khaki. I had been lusting after it since this post, and I had been locked onto the Old Khaki website, eagerly awaiting it’s arrival. The Safar waistcoat/jacket/ gilet (call it what you will) is one of my best purchases ever! It’s high quality, made from 100% suede, making it butter soft, luxurious and so insanely beautiful with it’s bohemian fringe detail. Outfit Details: Fringe Waistcoat – from Old Khaki {buy it online here} Maxi Skirt – (old) from Junkyard Angel Cream Vest – (old) from Woolworths Leather Wrap Belt – from Old Khaki {buy it online here} Gladiator Laceup Flats – Top Shop Cuff – from a little shop in Dullstroom

Good morning guys! I hope you all had a fab weekend! This weekend I shot another little OOTD, with this totally cute graphic sweat shirt. I love graphic tees, so when I spotted this one at SheIn, I had to have it! For a sweatshirt, it was quite fitted, so I layered it over a white shirt to add more length to my torso – since I don’t like it when tops end just on my hip. Not a good look for an already “hippy” girl ya know what I mean! I think the white shirt with the collar peeking out also made the look a little more pulled together. Still casual, but not overly so! To brighten up my look and make it more weekend cool, I wore my new Dune London Ediamond yellow handbag. It’s not technically a cross-body bag, but it works perfectly as one for me! Then, I just added a fluffy little charm to my bag to add some fun and threw on a pair of ripped up boyfriend jeans, nude pointed flats and some blue accessories. Happy Friday Gals! I’ve had a busy two days, judging Miss Veet SA, and man oh man, I am so looking forward to the weekend! It was a fun, yet grueling judging process, with such lovely girls. I enjoyed chatting with all ten finalists, but in the end the bubbly and beautiful Odirile Sepeng took home the crown. The crowning was held yesterday at the Four Seasons Westcliff Hotel and I took advantage of the backdrop (and the photographic skills of fellow fashion blogger, Irina from I’ll take it all) to help me shoot a little OOTD. Outfit Details: White Peplum Jacket: River Island Spring/ Summer 2015 collection (in stores soon) – grey option here Faux Leather pants: Miss Me Couture – similar style here. Leopard Handbag: Dune London – another option here Laceup Heels: Zara – also love these and these Sunglasses: Dolce & Gabbana, Faux Pearl Necklace: Woolworths – similar style here Double Pearl Earrings: Forever New (two sets combined) – similar ones here. I’m wearing Chanel Coco Rouge Lipstick in INSOUMISE from the 2015 Summer Makeup Collection that launches in May 2015. Shop Similar Options Around The Web

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a good weekend? I spent my Sunday in style, at the BMW Polo at the Waterfall Estate in Jozi. It was such a perfect day to be outdoors. Summer is definitely here! I didn’t realize how exciting a Polo match could be. We were treated to great game of magnificent Polo where SA beat USA in a really exciting match that had everyone (myself included) screaming and cheering on the sidelines. Since it was a BMW event, I thought I’d dress the part with a blue and white dress! Thankfully Accessorize helped me “accessorize my look” with a gorgeous, much needed wide brim hat and a totes cute sailor style bag. I snapped some outfit pics and a couple of action shots from yesterday’s fun. Hope you enjoy…

I’ve really missed Jozi! I forgot how much culture and vibe this beautiful city has. I guess it takes moving to another city for ten years to realise what you really have “back home”! A little while ago, we visited the Neighbourgoods Market in downtown Johanneburg. If you haven’t been or heard of it before, it’s a saturday-only market in the heart of Braamfontein. The vibe there is really cool, a little hipster and a really great place to hang out, have a drink or feed yer’ face with delicious treats. You absolutely HAVE to try the Paella. It’s beyond anything you’ve ever tasted – and you can witness the whole cooking process in giant (and I mean giant, look how small the people look in comparison) paella pans. You might want to grab a quick treat like maybe a Miya’s Sushi Cupcake beforehand, as the Paella que is seriously long. The longer you wait, the hungrier you get! The lower level is where you “pick” your food. Upstairs, on the rooftop, there is an open air spaced area for you to munch it down, or have a drink in the bar. The drinks selection is quite interesting, whether you feel like a Melon Mojito served in Consol jars or, warm red wine…

One thing about Jozi winters, it may be cold outside, but the days are filled with glorious sunshine! Just when I thought I had found my “it pair” of GAP jeans, I find these! I love the subtle destructed wash, and I do prefer a skinny leg – makes cuffing them look a little neater.   How cool is this tee? (also GAP). Since I am obsessed with Camo and Stripes this tee was like a match made in heaven. I didn’t love it when I saw it on the mannequin, but when I tried it on, that was it – I was sold! To keep the look “weekender”, I went with my reliable Converse High Tops and my new, awesome Knomo Great Portland bag. Then, I just added this everything goes blue collar necklace (from TopShop) and my Ray-Ban Cats 5000! These sunnies are super cool! Love the retro look so much! So, how did you guys spend your weekend? [signature]

Ever bought a dress you loved so much it made you want to burst out into song? Well I did, and I love it so much, I won’t sing, but I thought I’d blog it. It’s from a brand called Mink Pink which is available at Stuttafords, and I scored this lil’ number on sale for R349! Original Price R699. Gotta love half price sales. The fit of this dress is incredible, it’s really flattering and while it’s ladylike and conservative, it has a certain element on youth and playfulness. I also like the elastic band high up on the waist, give it a really nice flow without looking too bulky. I love the bright red and blue flower detail and the sheer sleeves. It would look really great with my Levis’ biker jacket – giving it that bit of a “rocker” edge. I’ve always wanted to pair this jacket with something floral, but nothing to frou-frou-frilly if you know what I mean. These are my Steve Madden Trinitie court shoes in electric blue. I love them! I’ve never worn them with a dress before, I always felt I looked a bit Minnie Mouse, but they seem to be the…
