Brows are still big business in the world of makeup and beauty, and I must be honest, I’m kinda obsessed with beautiful, sculpted brows. So today, I thought I’d share some of my favourite current brow products and some quick and easy brow tips that I’ve been using…

A ton of fantastic new products have landed on my desk recently, and since I want to keep you gals in the loop sooner rather than later, I’ve put together this little post to tell you all about them… It’s a rather lengthy one, so you may just want to get comfy, but I’ve tried to make it as short and sweet as possible… Kiehl’s BB Cream and Blur So these babies launched in July, but I wanted to give them a try before I tell you about them – not that I’ve ever been disappointed by anything from Kiehl’s! Ok so let’s start with the Kiehl’s Micro-Blur Skin Perfector (R510).  With LHA, Bark and Lentil Extract, it’s a lightweight skin smoothing formula that blurs out the skin, improving the appearance of pores instantly. Over time, the product is said to improve skin texture too – BONUS. I love how it glides on the skin and instantly gives my skin a nice canvas to work on. Think of it as the ultimate face primer – with added benefits! Also from Kiehl’s is their Dematologist Solutions Actively Correcting & Beautifying BB Cream SPF50/ PA+++ (R525). A mouthfull of a name, but that’s what I love about Kiehl’s –…

My everyday foundation routine changes from time to time. Since I am a beauty blogger, I get exposed to a lot of really cool new products, making it rather difficult to stick to one brand and one foundation routine. I thought I’d share my current, “everyday” foundation routine with you guys as I’ve been trying, testing and loving a few new products right now… Foundation I still have my absolute favourite foundations, like MAC Studio Fix, Chanel Vitalumiere, Makeup Forever HD, Chanel Perfection Lumiere and Estee Lauder Maximum Cover, but for every day, and for the time being at least, I’m loving the all new L’Oreal Infallible 24H Foundation! It’s really impressed me! I have used the old Infallible foundation, which I found to be a little thick and pasty, and I also couldn’t get any of the colours to match. But this new formula, with a Hydrating Hyaluron Complex, and “extreme hold pigments” has really improved the product. Now the foundation goes on a lot smoother, blends beautifully and lasts a really long time. Plus for me, the colour range is more up my (olive skin toned) alley! I’m using a combination of the shade Honey (235) and Amber (300) and the result is a perfect match! I found the best way to apply…

An artist needs his tools right? Well, I can’t live without my makeup brushes! Especially makeup brushes for my face! Sure, you can apply your foundation with your hands, but I like to use brushes, personally I like the effect they give and my hands don’t get messy. I do have a lot of favourites, and no, you don’t need all of them, but I like to use different brushes for different effects, or depending on how my skin feels on any given day. I like to mix it up and have picked out seven of my favourite foundation brushes and foundation application tools! I am often asked about the foundation brushes I feature in my photos for the blog and on instagram. You will see my favourite brand of makeup brushes for my face is Real Techniques. This is a brand of makeup brushes, developed by Beauty Guru, Samantha Chapman (one half of Pixiwoo on Youtube) and although you can’t get them in South Africa, if ever given the opportunity to get your hands on these brushes – go for it! They are great quality, and super well priced! I got my aunt who lives in the US to send me…
