Inside the Fearless Fashionista’s closet…

I get a lot of emails and enquiries about my clothes, accessories, my famous handbag collection and my Closet Room. So, I thought I would give you a sneak peek, share some pictures and give you a bit of info into my fashion closet.

I am very lucky that we have as a spare room where I can do this, so I take full advantage of it!

I love the boutique layout and design that my closet room has and I feel that displaying items instead of storing them away makes it so much easier when deciding on something to wear every day. I inherited a lot of clothes and accessories from my grandmother, who was a huge collector of all things beautiful and I like to display them.

Yes, believe it or not, but I wear almost all the pairs of shoes that you see in the second picture, whether it’s at work, functions, over the weekend or at home. I love all the new trends for summer and even next winter, so expect my shoe shoe collection to get much bigger over the next couple of months!

I find using a clothes rail to hang some of the clothes that I wear most often to be really useful, as it not only gives you hanging space in the other cupboards but it keeps my clothes crease free. I also use the rail at the bottom for extra shoe space. I inherited a huge suitcase full of belts from my grans, a lot of them I still use and some of them are sentimental to me, so I hang the ones I don’t use on the curtain rail where my mirror is.

I have been collecting handbags since I was about 10 and I keep only a few on display.  The the rest are kept on shelves in the cupboard opposite. My favourite brand is Guess and everyone knows me with my Guess handbags. Lately, I have been gravitating towards different brands and very trendy bags, like my tan fringe tassle bag that I am really in love with right now.

This is the cupboard  where I keep all my coats, jackets, jeans and shorts. I can’t live without my coats and jackets.  I especially love faux fur and faux leather since I am a vegetarian. The jeans are stored at the bottom and the top 2 shelves are my archives. I hate throwing things away so I tend to keep everything and my archives are where I store items.  I just cant bear to throw away and for items I know will come back into fashion.

I have a huge passion for scarves. I wear them with everything and in every season, no matter what the temperature. A scarf always makes an outfit really chic and I especially love wearing a them in different ways!

I did’nt take a picture, but on the other side I have my dressing table with everything from all my magazines, cosmetics to all my accessories, hats, jewelery…. but I will leave that for another post.

Till next time…..

Hey Jasna, what suggestions do you have for storing bangles? I have whole collection – LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them. Right now Im storing them in a huge big gift box in my cupboard – any other ideas?

@ Dimi- I actually have a huge collection of bangles too, some of them I have had since I was 10! So I know exactly what you mean : )
I have the ones I use often in a jewerley box on my dressing table and the ones that I have archived, to use on special occasions or when ever are in the draws in my dressing table. They are in different boxes and are sorted out according to color and style. I also have a few on my earing stands, they are quite big and I can fit a few on their that go with the style of my earrings. A very nice idea that I want to try some time is to use a shoe hanger that you hang on the back of your door. U must get the shoe hanger with the see through pockets, instead of storing shoes, u can store all your bangles as well as see which ones you want to use. U can hang it inside your cuppoard so they are out of the way.
I will think about a few other ideas and let you know : )
