Famed fashion photographer Mario Testino has launched a new photo exhibition featuring Kate Moss.
Kate Who is a series of life-sized portraits of the supermodel which will go on sale at the Phillips de Pury & Company’s London gallery. In total there are 18 iconic photos of Kate taken in 1996 of which only two to three copies will be available for purchase.
Mario and Kate have had a longstanding relationship with the photographer calling her “…the ultimate kind of woman, an icon of our times.”
The exhibition opened this week with the guest of honour, Kate in a stunning asymmetric black dress by Stella McCartney, who also attended the opening. Other attendees included Gywneth Paltrow, Donatella Versace and her daughter Allegra, Christopher Bailey, Graham Norton, Manolo Blahnik and Top Shop owner Sir Phillip Green.
The exhibition is a prelude to the book Testino will be publishing later this month. Kate Moss by Mario Testino is a limited-edition book featuring a collection of portraits of the iconic model. Kate Who will run at the Phillips de Pury & Company gallery until the 16th of July, after which it will move to the Saatchi Gallery.
