Decor daydreaming

My head’s a little all over the show at the moment.  All I’m thinking about really is taps, and bath tubs and toilets and showers… The new home for me and new studio for Friends with Jenny will be ready in about five weeks and with the plumbers starting next week, I have to choose all the things that are needed to plumb.

So I have been all over the decor and lifestyle blogs out there, searching for inspiration. Much like my fashion style, I like to mix vintage with modern, and definitely some quirk thrown in for good measure. I adore white, clean spaces with surges of colour in pillows or doors and there always has to be an organic feel in the form of roughened wood, concrete, etc. These are some of the looks I love:

The space will have exposed beams and a screeded floor, with lots of light and big windows. I am thinking of refurbishing some antique bits and pieces and mixing those with some more up-to-date pretties. Chandeliers will be essential and perhaps some delicious wall paper!

What do you think?
