Only a few more weeks of winter left, and then… SUMMER!
I’m already enjoying summer (in Greece), but before I left SA, I made sure to pack my trusty facial mists and summer mist sprays.
These are an absolute godsend when the weather heats up, and it gets helluva hot in Greece.
The nice thing about mists and sprays, is that they give you an instant boost of hydration, which means you can bear the heat just a bit longer!
Chanel Chance – Eau Tendre Sheer Moisture Mist
It’s been mentioned here and there, that spraying perfume onto your neck and then going out into the sun is a no-no. I don’t know too much about the facts, but it does kinda make sense. What I do know, is that sun = sweat and sweat = not so fabulous smell!
So CHANEL Chance Eau Tendre Sheer Moisture Mist is perfect! You can still smell good, while you get a nice cooling mist sprayed onto your body! It really does feel like a gentle breeze on your skin.
The smell instantly boosts your mood too! You feel fresh and ready for a few more hours out in the heat of summer.

Meadowsweet Soothing Patchouli Spritzer Spray
A great little product to keep in your handbag as it’s super compact. Ideal for a quick fresh-me-up spray any time.
These little Meadowsweet sprays have been lovingly made with natural spring water and essentials oils, and they come in a few different variations. I love the Soothing Patchouli.
Filorga Anti-Ageing Mist
This facial mist from Filorga is marvelous! It’s an alcohol-free facial mist that’s great for summer days spent outdoors. It helps to spruce up the skin, giving it an added moisture boost! It also helps to protect it from dehydration and oxidative stress.
You can use it morning and evening, underneath your moisturizer if your skin needs a little hydration, or spray it throughout the day for a quick, fuss free freshen up.
TIP: Although this is a facial moisturizing mist, spray a little onto the back of your hands too! Your hands are the second most prominent area to show aging, so you want to make sure that your hands are well protected!
Optiphi Shimmer Shield with SPF 15
Great for looking bronzed on the beach! Plus it has an SPF of 15, so you’ll get a little protection too!
I never go to the beach in Greece without an SPF of at least 30-50 (the sun is a killer), but I do still love this product. Not so much as a sun shield, but rather as a way to fake bronzed skin. The tiny sparkle particles make my skin glow and the added SPF is just a great extra!
I’m not 100% sure if you can get this product on it’s own. It was part of a summer promotion earlier this year, but I’ve been saving it for my holiday in the Med.
