Stay sharp and shimmer on!
How amazing are these new eyeliner pencil crayons from Smashbox? The colour is gorg, sparkly and metallic! But, besides the striking colour and amazing colour payoff – these sharpliners are in a class of their own!
Why?
Well, the have sharpeners built into the lid! So, when you want to sharpen them up and create bold, perfectly straight graphic lines, you can, in an instant.
It’s as simple as popping the lid back on, twisting and viola! Super sharp tips!
Genius! Just genius!
Even after they’ve been used, with completely flat tips, they can return to their former, sharp glory.
I took this pic after applying liner (on my hand as a test). You can see that the tips are starting to get blunt.
Then, I wanted to take the bluntness to the limit, and got them down to this. I must be honest, after this little test, I thought it might have been the end of my sharpliners and honestly didn’t think they could come back to “life”
Well gals! I am impressed! The pic above was taken after I sharpened the completely blunt pencils.

As for the colour of the liners, I looooove em! I am especially fond of the first one in my swatch. It’s called “3D Sparks” and it’s a beautiful khaki brown with golden shimmer particles. It’s my favourite since, it looks natural, yet striking. The other two, “3D Neptune” (blue) and “3D Gunmetal (silver/ gunmetal) are also really pretty colours that look amazing on.
This liner launches this month in March, and will be available in eight shades. The others being: 3D Gemstone, 3D Galaxy, 3D Billionaire, 3D Pacific and 3D Orchid.
Look out for them at selected Edgars, Red Square, Foschini and Woolies stores. They are amazing!

can you do a post as to the best way to wear coloured/ sparkly eyeliner? these are so pretty but Im not sure what eye shadow to use it with!?

Will definitely work on a post like that for you. The key to wearing bold, coloured liners is to focus on the liner, so don’t worry too much about eyeshadow. Look for something that’s a similar tone to your skin. These particular eyeliners work great on the lower lash line as well to create a nice smudgey line with just a hint of sparkle. Also good just to define the lashline (top and bottom) as you would with normal eye shadow.

Wow! These look awesome. Various types of eyeliner pencils are available in the cosmetic market but one should prefer healthy eyeliner pencils which are less harmful to your eyes. These particular pieces of eyeliner pencils are looking absolutely stunning. Thanks for sharing about these.
