Oh my gosh! Swoon with a capital “S”!
How beautiful are these new goodies from Chanel Les Beiges?
LES BEIGES, is basically Chanel’s “brand” for “natural, glowing skin”. The products stand out by a unique white case compact (all other Chanel compacts are black). Les Beiges started in 2013 with the introduction of Healthy Glow Sheer Powder, and this month, three new products add a new chapter to the Les Beiges story.
Lucky for me, I got to sample the amazing Les Beiges All In One Healthy Glow Fluid SPF and Healthy Glow Multi-Colour compact, which I’ll tell you more about in today’s post. The third product that will launch with this collection is a beautiful retractable Kabuki Brush.
All In One Healthy Glow Fluid SPF 15
It’s like foundation, only better!
I love this fluid because it’s so lightweight and it looks and feels, almost like skin!
The texture is amazing and the combination of a powder and soft focus gel formulation, makes it comfortable, long lasting and just plain beautiful!
Coverage wise, it worked really well to give my skin radiance, thanks to the subtle illumination. And, I only needed a tiny bit of concealer to touch up imperfections.
It smells amazing (like all Chanel skincare), with an instant burst of white peach and watermelon. MMMM!
I’m normally a shade B40 in Chanel, and although I sampled shade No30 in Les Beiges All In One Healthy Glow Fluid, I can still pull this colour off!
It doesn’t have as much yellow in it as a B40 Foundation, but still works with my skin and will work even better in winter. I do like the fact that it’s still beige at heart and not pinky!
Healthy Glow Multi-Colour
By far the prettiest compact case I own, I am obsessed with the white case!
This trio of complimenting shades, that add extra radiance and a healthy glow to your face, comes in two shade options: No1 and No2.
It also comes with a half moon brush that fits into the compact and you can use to customise your application. First, turn it on it’s side, and apply all three shades in one brush stroke, or you can use the tip to pick out single shades.
I love using it to apply all three shades, because the combo gives your skin the most amazing finish. It’s like a one step all in one application.
Place the lighter shade (at the top) just above the cheek bone, which will automatically add a nice contrast (with the middle colour) to the cheek bone, and then a pop of colour (from the bottom shade), when you gently swoop the brush up and over the apples of your cheeks.
Used as a combo, this little guy adds dimension, contrast and a beautiful pop of colour of your face – and none of it is overpowering!
I got to sample it in No1, which is a softer trio (No2 being a slightly more bronzing trio).
I am glad I got this one, because as much as I love bronzer, it’s nice to play around with something different for a change, and to be honest, I couldn’t resist that peachy shade at the bottom. I’ve been looking for the perfect, pretty and natural peach blush since for ever!
Like the fluid, Healthy Glow Multi-Colour compact smells gorg with the same scent!
It feels really good on the skin, and I don’t know how Chanel make their powders, but they just feel awesome! So lightweight and not suffocating.
Look out for these beauts, set to launch on the 12th May!
